    This helped a lot. I was trying to figure out a way to cite the Bible correctly because I am comparing verses to a poem for one of my courses. I looked at previous videos from other people and those were confusing. This is clear and transparent.

    Hi! Miss Pickey here! You have a typo on the page where you first cite Foner about minute 2:25 you have (Foner, 44), There should be NO COMMA! Can you fix that?
    Otherwise this is great! I share your videos with my students A LOT!

      Good catch! I’ll see what I can do since it’s already posted. 👍🏽

    Your works cited is wrong on 1:33. We never list a source on a works cited by first name, and your intext is (Bickham), and the source is listed as Jes first. On the works cited page it should say, Bickham, Jes.

    Thanks for sharing; however, why did you use all CAPs in your examples? Very misleading to students who are just learning about MLA.

      It sounds like you should watch at 4:46. You are citing a source in a source.

      @batsoupp 2 года назад

      Yeah watched it earlier and it sounds like what I'm talking about xD
      I'm trying to figure out who should i quote/cite in an article where the author inserted many dialogues from different people.
      Thank you man!

      @@MisterMessinger should I follow this procedure even if the article is In a website? Or should use the "how to qoute online source" process?

    • @MisterMessinger
      @MisterMessinger  2 года назад

      Yes, the rule of thumb is to cite the original author no matter if it is in a book, website or article. Cite whoever said the quote not necessarily where you read it.
