I since then, have found myself knowing that that song was a joke, making fun of people, such as the one in that video. I later re-framed my earlier statement, saying "It's stupid, but it's supposed to be stupid." However. That argument cannot be applied here. This a stupid, overhyped song, made by a stupid, overhyped 'producer.' But here's the rub. This is supposed to be taken seriously, and it is. And that makes me sad. Try listening to this, tuning out the autotuned vocals. It's honestly depressing to see that your vocals make up nearly the entire track, except for a PAINFULLY high-pitched synth. I'm not saying it's not music. It's bad, but it is music. However, this is the equivalent of slapping cartoon characters on shitty cereal, or making movie-licensed video-games. They'll sell to stupid people, because they think "catchy" means "good".
