@@Jay-kx4jf I say watch robert sl's up till 2005 then aaron sl and then robert 2014 and then aaron 2014 and then robron. what kind ironic aaron was actually in the village sometimes before robert left but they never really actually interacted until 2014, irony is aaron slept with robert younger sister vic when robert was away and had rivlary with andy half brother daz and daz then got sent away by andy when found out about vic and aaron, who robert used to sort of bully and threatened to hide his affair with katie. aaron and robert actually both in same room at andy and katie first wedding and would be having an affair at katie and andy wedding so irony in robert and aaron ending up together, also i felt chas took a bit of a fancy to robert when he was pining for her bessie mate Katie. so daz returning and his take on everything would been interesting. it shame daz left and never come back.
Hoping Ryan will come back as Robert some day. I don’t think any future relationship that Aaron is in will ever be the same as what Robert and Aaron had. Robert is literally his soulmate☹️
Yes Robert and Aaron literally were IT for each other. I think Jackson and Katie were their first great loves but I don't think they ever felt at home with them or be themselves like.
I'm guessing this is the first appearance of Ryan as Robert? (I've never seen the previous actors who played Robert.) Knowing the full story, this is a pivotal episode in the monumental love story between Robert & Aaron ... it's exciting to look back to the beginning and see him for the first time.
Andy is a loser tbf, he was the favoured son over Robert for some reason so any wonder robert become so bitter etc, he was made feel worthless by jack, andy, diane etc, irony the son jack favoured and gave the farm to take over from him, lost it in the end, he also beat up his wife, cheated on his wife (katie), slept with a underage debbie and got her pregnant, got katie pregnant when she was 16. cheated on Chrissie with Bernice as Chrissie called her as clownish stain of a woman. robert a slimeball like but i think he was made this way by jack and andy also the rest of the family enabled them to make robert feel worthless while enabling andy entitled behaviour, andy always looks down on people too and acted superior and always rubbed in how he was favoured over robert, i just never saw andy as some poor little victim of big bad robert. if watch 2001 andy is horrible to robert and was always hassling him, it only after sarah death reveal they seem switch roles. jack always favoured andy over robert even as kids. the family overlooked andy behaviour and kicked robert and daz out for less. it why i would liked see if daz and robert could of bonded. if both not left when they did.
I know it's been years, but I still really really hate Robert. Such a shame they put so much time and energy into this storyline. Of course I'm still going to watch it again anyway.
