As someone who doesn't regularly watch this version of Countdown, but rather the 8 Out of 10 Cats one, hearing Rachel getting away with saying "4 large to finish the day, that's what I like" without anyone remarking on it just feels wrong

In the first numbers round, I had a few solutions for 915:
50 / 25 = 2
4 x 2 = 8
100 + 75 + 8 = 183
183 x 5 = 915
100 + 5 = 105
50 / 25 = 2
105 x 4 x 2 = 840
840 + 75 = 915
50 - 4 = 46
100 x 46 = 4600
4600 - 25 = 4575
4575 / 5 = 915
This last is based on the fact that 100 / 5 = 20 and 25 / 5 is 5, so it's the equivalent of (50 - 4) x 20 - 5 = 915.
In the second round, I saw the contestants' solution, but if you wanted to use all of the numbers, you could do this:
100 + 25 = 125
125 - 5 = 120
120 x 4 = 480
480 + 10 + 9 = 499
There's not really any point in finding more solutions for such an easy target, though.
In the third round, I saw Rachel's solution, and few more ways out of the million to do it are:
5 x 2 = 10
100 + 10 = 110
75 / 25 = 3
110 x 3 = 330
75 - 5 = 70
100 / 25 = 4
70 x 4 = 280
280 + 50 = 330
75 / 5 = 15
100 + 50 + 15 = 165
165 x 2 = 330
100 + 75 = 175
50 / 5 = 10
175 - 10 = 165

The logic of the above solution is that since I'm dividing by 25, 100 is equivalent to 4 and 50 to 2, so it's functionally the same as (75 + 5 + 2) x 4 + 2 = 330.
Again, the fourth round isn't really worth doing, but for the sake of doing something this is my solution using all of the numbers:
25 x 2 = 50
100 / 50 = 2
8 + 2 = 10
10 x 10 x 4 = 400

Can't be bothered with the "6 small" or "4 large" rounds. The contestants may think they're showing off but for the average viewer it's too difficult to try and results in boring TV.
There were times where I liked 4 large, but to be honest I've gone off them LOL I absolutely loathe 6 small rounds.

And the guy who chose six small ones didn't get not even close to the target. Sometimes you don't get to it but we expect them to get real close.
I'm sure some choose those just to throw off their opponents. Just like when you are winning and choose 2 large numbers because they are easy.
See, I am no good at 4 large or 6 small, but I really like these selections being chosen as it makes it way more interesting than a bog-standard 1 large or 2 large.
