I’ll love to visit Bird In Hand Farmer’s Market. When I visit PA. I’ll check out the Farmer’s Market. Be my list of things to do in Pennsylvania. Someday, I’ll visit Pennsylvania.
I hope you do get to visit! The Bird-in-Hand Farmer’s Market is a wonderful place to get a local experience and it’s in a great location to be able to explore more of Lancaster 👏😍👍
Loved this video. Brings back some wonderful memories. Favorite purchases from here are #1 Sticky buns! Betsy Lantz mustard (so good I have ordered it from their web site a few times) and the soft pretzels are a bargain. Loved Bird in Hand so much. This market, the Buffett and when we go back we want to stay at the Bird in Hand hotel. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Thanks Rose!! I’m glad you liked it:) I agree - it’s so nice to see Lancaster even when we can’t be there in person. Bird-in-Hand holds a special place in my heart as well ❤️🥰😊. And great recommendations! I too love those sticky buns! The mustard I will have to try 👍👍
Really enjoy this place. Hit it up every visit. We were going to try the peanut butter candy, but they did not have any. The gift shop really reminds me of the one at Shady Maple.
I visited this place over mother’s day weekend with the family and omg their cheese selection is so yummy and tasty with many different flavors to choose from. Even the spicy sausages will make u go crazy for more after tasting it and wow don’t let me get started with their chocolates the peanut clusters is so delicious. This is a nice little place to check out that’s filled with friendly people I will definitely be going back before summer is over.
Oh how awesome 👏👏👍👍🥰🥰. Yes u hit the nail on the head!! Thank u for sharing your experiences 😍👍. I LOVE the cheese and beef sticks AND 2 of my favorite chocolates are there!! So glad u enjoyed it and so glad you let me know 😊😊
@@ElleLiving you’re welcome I had a great time out there Iam from NY and the drive was worth it going there to visit I hope u got your apple cider too I got me some 😊
Yes I agree to both of your observations ☺️👍😊!! Such a special place :). The town was named after a picture of an old hotel’s swinging sign (as the saying goes). Founded in 1734!
I agree with you! 😄😆 That was my first walk-around recording type video so there’s a lot of room for improvement (which I’m still trying to do 👍) I used a GoPro for footage which really isn’t meant for that kind of filming (better for action related footage) so I stopped using that and now just use my iPhone. As far as permission, I did not ask ahead of time. The general info out there suggests for reviewing a place you don’t need to get permission, but the owner of any location has the final say so to speak. However I was fully prepared to leave if they asked me to 😆. Most places like the free publicity 😎
Hey David! So exciting that you will soon be in Lancaster!!! A beautiful time of year! So, almost everything is open. Once in awhile, I come across a place that is still only doing take-out but that's rare. I am going to put 2 links on here that will hopefully help you out! One is a link to a PDF file listing almost all restaurants in Lancaster (put out by Discover Lancaster) and what they are offering right now. The Discover Lancaster website is a great resource to help you plan your visit. Of course, the best idea is to check out the individual websites to the places you want to go. Though if you tell me where you are hoping to go, I can try to find out. For now, I'll put the Discover Lancaster link first, then the link to the restaurant list www.discoverlancaster.com/ s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/lancaster-2019/images/files/open_dining_4.16.21.pdf?mtime=20210416093836&focal=none The PA governor just adjusted some restrictions increasing indoor dining capacity to 75% (to those who pass certification) & resuming bar service. Also, I heard he plans to life more restrictions on businesses in the coming weeks. I hope this helps! Oh, and masks are still required are highly recommended indoors in PA
Hey Elle, I have a question for you about the best Amish/Mennonite Bulk stores? My wife has found one or two but they weren't as big as I would have liked. Do you know of any?
Don’t know much sorry! I think the big markets like Green Dragon and Roots have a lot to choose from but not sure about bulk. Maybe a local will see this question and have a better answer. I do know a lot locals like some smaller markets but not sure about bulk. 🤔🤔

Yes indeed, next town name is 'Intercourse". lancasterpa.com/intercourse/
Did you have to ask for permission to film? I'm happy you got this footage. However, it is hard to read things when the camera is moving fast.

Les Recettes de Sidy you are welcome! It is my pleasure :). Have you been there??
Now if I could only find a map to show me how to get from the middle east to this market .
That would be a pricey trip to the market!! 😄😆😂. Hopefully someday :)
@@ElleLiving it would be but if I ever visit the states I'd rather visit this place instead of the big cities.
Now I am hungry.
