No refund/exchange story: Pretty much every shoe store I've been to in the last few years, if you wear the shoes outside of the store, especially going outside, even in a parking lot, they won't take back the shoes or refund them. Grandpa and uncle story: Gramps did good by the uncle. The sons got what they deserved.
The second someone dies, everyone shows up to pick over the remains. When my mother died, neighbors and her church showed up demanding EVERYTHING! Car, clothes, furniture, whatever..they declared it was all theirs. Literally JUST had her body moved and there they were.
#1 is a bit tough, because the mother is obviously willing to lie in court over it; but it's always seemed to me that "picky eater" was another way of saying "not very hungry".
I tended to be what some would call a "picky eater" when I was young, but that was because (I realised a lot later) I had undiagnosed high functioning autism (aka Asperger Syndrome). One of the effects of this condition is that I tend to pay attention to my senses a lot more than neurotypical folk. The result of that is that some tastes, even when they are nominally "good" tastes, were far too strong for me to endure. The sensation was so overwhelming that it may as well have been painful. It really was that unpleasant. It was worse when the flavour was unpleasant to begin with, such as cooked beans. I was fortunate that my parents weren't too strict and compromised with me even though they didn't know what was going on any more than I did. I'm fairly sure that they understood that I was willing to starve to death rather than to eat some things which I disliked, and realised that fighting a battle they could only lose - one way or another - wasn't worth the effort. I still managed to eat a balanced diet, so it wasn't worth fighting with me over exactly how I got that balanced diet. So, yeah, "picky eater" does NOT have anything to do with hunger. I definitely would have starved to death if I wasn't allowed to eat unless I ate cooked beans. Yes, I really was that stubborn (and fatalistic, even that young).
When one of my best friends passed away, friends for 40+ years, his three best friends, sat in the front row with his immediate family, wife & kids. After internment I heard someone complaining about us sitting with the family. The eldest daughter told them, this men are my uncles, they did more to raise, and train us than you did. The commenter was the wife of my friends brother, her real uncle. We continued our yearly 4th of July gathering for another few years with them, but times changed, kids married, and moved, but they still keep in touch. Only my own family is closer to me, than I am with these kids, and I do miss them. But that's life, maybe next year we'll be able to travel back for the 4th again.
The shoe return story - this is why you try the shoes on before buying them, because once they leave the store the chances of them accepting the returned shoes is nearly 0.
I don’t think it was $200. I think I it was $200K, as a funeral in the year given was in no way ever going to be as cheap as $150, meaning it should have also been $150K.
They were not family members they were burdens to the grandparents, they pulled BS on OPS grandparents and tried to tell OP that the grandparents told them that they could have family heirlooms, did this joker not hear or think that the grandparents made up any wills, what an idiot
I worked at a Target and this guy tried to return a pair of shorts because they didn't fit. HE WAS WEARING THEM!! He started to take them off right at the return desk.
1:02 we really need to put an end to this type of crap by just making a law that says whenever someone intentionally maliciously falsely accuses another person of a crime just because they're trying to get them in trouble and ruin their life, the person who falsely accused the other person gets the maximum sentence for whatever crime they falsely accused the other person of. If they were willing and trying to send someone else to jail for that long for a crime they did not commit why shouldn't they go to jail for that long themselves?
Customer: WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THESE, THEY DON'T FIT? Me: Well, you can buy a pair that do fit and take these back home, clean the dirt off them and either sell them on Ebay or donate them to the local Value Village or Salvation Army... 😄😁😆😅😂🤣
Hi Redwheel, about the last story. the court might have considerd it a illigal sale if ops grandfather sold op the land for 200 dollars. selling it to someone the grandfather did not have any connections with like not a close friend or a family member would be one thing but the way you mentioned might be consider illigal, or a lawyer might have been able to give some good arguments for having the sale and the rights given to the grandfather voided depending on the laws or presedence in regard to simular cases.
That's BS If there was no photo evidence and no testimonial then the judge should have dismissed this case on the dot. Also I would think that CPS would be on the case making sure that both sides are giving them good lunches before anything what's happening in court. Especially after hearing they're getting chocolate sandwiches for lunch everyday!!! they should be having rotting teeth and completely overweight by now.
1-Chocolate sandwiches? WTAF? Are you and your ex trying to starve your children? If you could prove that is what she was feeding the kids she would be in deep doo-doo. I'd like to be a fly on the wall when you can prove to the judge that your ex is giving the children chocolate sandwiches. 😈 2-Manager was one cool dude! 3-I think op was understating the size of the plot. 50X100m would maybe fit 2 very small houses but not a development. Either way, grandpa gave away the land and the developer laughed all the way to the bank.
This guy ex wife she want her ex husband to control I her ex husband house. This guy ex wife just only parent to give them. chocolate sandwich for lunch, try to full Casti just to get child support this evil because she want control

Last story: WHERE in the world did you get a funeral for 150$?!? Even in China, where they just dump people into landfills it costs you more....
It was revenge for treating his uncle like crap so when they signed the deal his grandpa sold it dirt cheap
That would be in Made-Up-Story Land.
Good afternoon everyone and RedWheel 😊
Hope everyone had a great Thursday 😊

Story 1 - Be careful what you wish for, you might actually get it.
Happy 4th of July 🎉🎉 to my fellow Americans
If only he figured out he can try shoes INdoors 😂😂😂
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Vultures always come when they smell death and/ or money!
A huge plot of land that was sold for $200? Even in 2000, that would be a ridiculous sales price.
It was revenge for they treated his uncle
Wish you a great holiday weekend! More great stories, sure can count on RW to deliver! Thank you! Catch you again in the morning!

Hi all 👋👋

💜🍰✌️
The last stories op is definitely not good with numbers.
What the heck is a chocolate sandwich?
$200 for a plot of land? Only in Fantasyland. The city taxes would be more than that.

Wth is a chocolate sandwich?
