You can the TOROW for the song names and for each song column, there are the names of the people who like it.

Has anyone seen an excel function that will "add" the number of instantiations from list? For instance, if I have a list of 50 items and the word "Excel" is in the listing twice, it will tell me in some fashion that it's in the list twice.

If I understand correctly, use COUNTIF, in this syntax --> =COUNTIF(range,"Excel")
