I've done a lot of research but no one seems to talk about Toulon Vocational College in Toronto.They exist for international students and most of thier courses do not require you to have EILTS.

I contacted the school they said they offer 50% scholarships most they said the other money you pay for yourself but they are actually one of the generous school unlike Redeemer university which is a bit strict

Thanks so much for the information kukuaa. but with their 27% acceptance rate for graduate studies i guess will be very challenging especially paying 130CAD FOR APPLICATION FEE.
You have to step up your application processes with complete documents , good essays and communications with your program directors then. I mean its all about how you approach the application. The acceptance rate may even differ from program to program. If you really want to apply then dont let the acceptance rate be a hinder

I mentioned in the video that application is opened for winter semester 2023 but for scholarship application it opens In December so there’s ample time to prepare

For one to apply for a scholarships does one need to have an offer letter first from the university. Or it can be done at the same time.

@@adejokeoflagos563 yes. You need to pay for application fees for some schools while other schools waive the application fees. So it really depends on the school. I’m in a nursing school in canada and application fee is $75…so again , it depends on the school

For masters application after gaining admission does it come with the scholarship or you would have to apply separately

University of York requires Gre and IELTS for graduate programs, you should add that information
This is not a general requirement for every graduate program. For some, GRE is not required. It’s good that you check your specific requirements for the course you want to reply.

For essay writing, it’s all about answering the questions they ask , the best way you can. So usually they would like to know your skills and experiences and how it has made an impact.

For Jan 2023 I will so it’s late now if you want funding, now is the perfect time to apply for September 2023 , early application makes you stand tall in getting funding among many other criteria

Hi Kukuaa, I have explored York University website and have realised IELTS, TOEFL, duolingo etc are major English requirements for the postgraduate programs
That’s their default English requirement but it doesn’t mean you should submit it If you studied with English
it is waived off for certain countries. You can submit English proficiency from your school stating that you studied in English too.

I wanted to apply for nursing direct entry in the york university, but it requested me to submit my applications to the Onatario Universities' Admissions Centre (OUAC), Am I on the right page? , can I proceed with the application?
I think you are. But nursing can be hard to get into as an international student so it won't follow the same procedure as the other programs.

Hi gap years are common and it won’t necessarily affect your application negatively.
If necessary, reasons for gap years can be especially during your visa application and you have to give good and convincing reasons for such long gap year. Financial hindrance is a reason

Hi good evening kuukua, please I have a question. On the York website, they are asking for an English test result. Do I need to write the exam before I can receive the admission.
As default they always say they require English test but they have given exemptions so If you come from the English language exemption countries I showed (verify from their website) then you don’t need English test. If you also studied in English you are exempted. Ghana Nigeria Kenya India and many countries are all exempted from English test

If it is masters studies it can range from one year to two. If it is undergraduate then it will be 3 to 4 years

I will advise you look for scholarship before you apply by looking for professors and supervisors. Also good to ask the program coordinator of your department how best you can get a scholarship for your MSc.

For PhD your funding comes with admission. You however have to make sure you get a supervisor before, that’s where your funding will come from.

You will have to first contact the program director to ask them about funding and how you can go about it . usually their contacts are on the websiter of the program you are applying for. or you can just go ahead and contact supervisors when you get a positive feedback from them you can be assured of funding

It depends on the school. Some schools have their application fee waived off…you can double check with the school
