you are going to love the cricut!! I now personalize everything:) If you have never used one before, I recommend that you start to play and learn on design space. RUclips tutorials will teach you every & any thing. Have fun with it.
As far as the finger blade is concerned... I've had mine for a long time and I just haven't used it because I didn't like how it hurts the back of my index finger. (No matter how I hold it). I have taken to wearing a band-aid and I think that just might solve the problem.
