Great video thank you! We’re going on honeymoon over Christmas and this video showed so much more of the resort than we’d seen before. It looks awesome. Thank you!
You are going to love it! Thank you for taking the time to comment. Please let them know when you get there that you loved my video. It is a long transfer from the airport but get your camera ready for the shots of the mountains.
This is the exact type of video I need for every hotel! I don’t want their marketing videos! This is PERFECT! I’ll definitely be watching all your videos! And I’ve subscribed 🥰
Hi! We've just got back from a tour of New Zealand.... so watch this space! Your comment is actually exactly what I tried to achieve. Thank you so much.
We actually going to the Victoria beach comber for a week and then to the Canonnier club med for another week in October, I may do a walkthrough like this for both of those places. People don’t do this enough! I need to know where I’m going before I go! Next holiday I may book at the hotel in your video because I feel like I know it now because of your walkthrough video!
Hi, We would like to stay for 14 nights in the deluxe room. That is a lot of money and so I wanted more certainty than the website or Tripadvisor and your video of the entire resort convinced us immediately. How beautiful it is there. In addition, I am not a fish eater and I certainly don't eat much that I like, so I was actually looking for a more buffet-style resort. But I think it will be fine. I only see great reviews. Do you have any tips for us? Nice to get in touch with people who were there not so long ago. Greetings from Ralph & Monique The Netherlands.
@@ralph.souren Thank you for replying with so much detail! Most of the meals in the main restaurant are buffet style. 2 or 3 times a week the main course is served a la carte but even then you will be given a choice. At The Peninsular there is a menu with great choices- don't worry! We are not great fish eaters either and the food was the highlight of the holiday.
Thanks for the video. You mentioned that the half board guests eat at a different restaurant to all inc. Could you expand on this? Is the HB restaurant lesser quality? Thank you
I think you may have misinterpreted something I said. Everyone eats in the same restaurants. Even if you choose to eat a meal at lunchtime and you're on half board you will eat in the same restaurant but just pay for the meal.
Finally a great video on this resort, we booked this over 6 months ago, for our honeymoon Sept 24. Thank you so much for the information you have shared. So the all inclusive includes, the main buffet restaurant, the peninsula and the XO restaurant? Plus drinks. We also are well travelled, but this resort looks amazing, can’t wait
Yes- I think that you are correct about the AI. Please search for my review (thefeenee) on Google or TripAdvisor for comments about the all inclusive offer.
So we still keep watching your video. 6 weeks until we arrive at Paradise Cove for our honeymoon and both our birthdays. We are both so excited. Thanks again for your excellent video
Really helpful, informative and well shot video - thank you! My partner and I are hoping stay at the resort next year but I would be intrigued to know if you felt the resort was in anyway “lacking” owing to not having a direct open water beach as many other resorts do? Thank you in advance
Hi Barry. We were also a little concerned about this before we went and emailed the hotel. They said that it was perfectly possible to swim in the cove itself and we did see people doing this. There are several ladders down into the sea off the end of the peninsular but the waves put us off. We are not great beach people and knew that Reunion had good beaches (we went there for a few days also) so were not too bothered. If it is important to you then Paradise Cove will disappoint. For us, the other facilities more than made up for it and the cove beach is lovely.
@@TheFeeneewe are back. Yes it was fabulous, the food , staff incredible. We went all inclusive and was so impressed by the choice and quality on that plan we couldn’t believe it. We had a few issues with our room but they were dealt with very quickly and professionally. It only rained once for a couple of hours but I read my book on the balcony and the wife went to the Spa. Fabulous break . I loved looking at the fruit bats at night soaring overhead . Shame emirates gave me food poisoning on the way back to the UK , I’m still recovering 6 days later. We would love to go again
Great video. I was sure id commented before but can see it. Thabks for uploading. Off in 2 weeks for our honeymoon and have been watching this at least weekly! Whats thw etiquette on tipping?
Hi- thank you for commenting. Have a great time and please let me know how you got on when you return! Within the resort there is no tipping unless you want to. We did tip one person in particular because of the way that he looks after guests. Taxis etc 10% if you feel it was worth it. Cash only!
Great video, really wish more people did walkthrough videos like this. Question for you or anyone who has stayed: What are the food choices like for someone that doesn’t eat seafood?
Hi Colin! Thanks for the praise- please make sure that you 'like' the video. Don't worry about seafood- my wife and I stick to fish only, can't eat mussels, oysters, crab, lobster etc..... you will have no trouble at all with a great variety of choices each night. They will also 'knock up' something special for you. Have a great time!
Hello, great video. We're booked to go Sept. Were you bothered by the absence of a sandy beach in front of the hotel (as typical of most others) and the evening long pants dress code for men in the restaurants?
Hi! No, not bothered at all. There is a nice sandy beach in the cove which always had loungers available. The evening dress code is something that I support. I like to get changed for dinner, especially when it is as good as here!
Hi there! Just watched your vlog with my hubby. I came across this hotel a couple of years ago online and fell in love with it as an option for my 60th birthday in a couple of years. Then I put it to the back of my mind as I decided I’d like to go to Australia instead. Recently however, I started thinking about this resort again and found your vlog and now I’m in LOVE again!! I wonder if you could answer a few questions please.. 1. Do all the rooms face the cove? I wasn’t sure if some rooms are on the back of those and so would face the back of the resort (hope that makes sense). 2. Can you clarify about the cove itself as my hubby is being put off by the way you call it the ‘artificial’ beach? The water in the cove obviously flows from the sea so they’ve just created a beach? Can you still swim in the cove? Is there a public sandy beach close by that you could go to? Not sure if they all belong to which ever resorts sit on the coast. 3. Is there any entertainment at night such as live music? Just so I know there’s a good atmosphere and it’s not too quiet. 4. Is there any nightlife/shops nearby (outside of the resort)? 5. Which room type did you stay in and how was it? The room pics online look amazing but I know you can upgrade too but not sure if you need to. Like sometimes they make it seem a basic room isn’t good enough but is it in this resort? Thanks 😊
Hi from this year's excursion...New Zealand! Glad to help but remember, I was just a guest. 1) yes. They all face the cove. 2) the cove is tidal so it is fully connected to the sea. Yes, you can swim in it. The beach is a genuine sandy beach but has been put there at the end of the cove... Hence 'artificial'. Not sure if the cove is natural. There is a public beach just outside the resort but I never knew anyone go there. 3) yes, there is entertainment in the evenings but it is really low key. One evening was a female guitarist/ vocalist. Another was a local dance group. Do not go here for the entertainment!
Cont... There is no nightlife or shops within walking distance. You get a taxi to Grand Baia and it's pretty but not much going on. Basically if you want entertainment and night life this is not for you.
Thanks so much for responding. Good to know all the details. It will just be me and hubby going so we’re not looking for nightlife as such (we’re definitely not ‘party‘ people 😂 I hope you’re having a fab time in New Zealand! That’s another on our bucket list. Will you be vlogging?
Hi Alan. My top tip is that you book at least 6 evenings at The Peninsula restaurant as soon as you arrive. We did not eat at the Cove because of the additional cost although one couple we met said that it was worthwhile I don't consider £180 extra to be great value. We didn't eat at the Japanese because we don't eat Sushi- but again, it got excellent reports and is included in the AI or HB tariffs. I would also ask for a room NOT on the ground floor- too easy to walk straight in if the veranda door is open and also a little less private on the ground floor.
Hi! There are lots of shots around the man-made beach from about 3:20 onwards. There is a public beach just outside the resort. Zoom in on Google maps to see it!
amazing video thanks so much !! very helpful. the hotel seems really amazing as the photos

Great video thanks for that . We are going in October for our 25th wedding anniversary, we are also used to a beach but im sure it will be fabulous
