I wish you were making weekly videos like this when I was still finishing pool 3. I never knew how to substitute missing cards from top decks back then. These replacement suggestions are still helpful today, but would have been even more so back then.
Thanks Jeff for recommending decks every week. Just now,I finally get my first infinte conquest win using Ronan destroyer. It deal against patriot, hela,high evolutionary,destroy ,baron zemo(not sure if all are in infinite conquest). Cosmo really come in handy to just negate hela and ultron to win max cube, and also some luck when opponent put prof X in lane I winning and sinister london the correct way.

I think the 2 biggest issues in marvel snap are Hella and the fact that on reveal cards are so much harder to counter than ongoing cards. Ongoing cards get countered so easily as they build their castle and one card tips it. On reveals are always a guessing game to counter… and yet their rewards are better than most ongoing cards. They should rework Kang to undo the effect of every on reveal played this game… then the on reveals would get a taste of what ongoing has to deal with
The little bast deck is my favorite deck I think I’ve ever played. I sub Medusa for white widow personally, but either way it’s such a great deck, thank you for sharing it! Been running it since Sage dropped.
I really like the decks shown and the explanation (with suitable replacements). I still dislike the fact Hela is a top preformer because that deck cares very little for interaction while spewing out massive stats. I don't get why SD refuses to acknowledge her but time will tell I guess.
I don't have Infinaut in any of my decks and for the weekend mission I used the autofiller to create something around it. It gave me a stock Hela deck. I played it to get the four wins and it felt really dirty and shameful. Never touching it again.

It's always a little sad to see guys at the top like Jeff get smothered with so much sameness while my mediocre ass has no idea what deck, or card, I am going to be seeing next. I rarely ever see Hela for instance, haven't for months. Seems to be annoying to play against but because it's so rare for me it hardly chafes.
Imo the fix is 5/2 Prof X, can't be played before turn 5. Ravonna can't help it anymore, and it's fairly telegraphed since it can't be cheated out. A full rework would be nice too
If you play hela and snap randomly then yeah it requires no skill. But to actually play it optimally, it requires quick calculation of probabilities and deciding if those odds are worth staying in for X cubes. There is a way to play the deck with skill that separates good hela players from bad ones.
@@augustinechoy1450 yep if they play Corvus and snap just leave for 1 it's no big deal unless you have some prof x kinda counter deck but the husky puppies list is much less random and there's a decent amount of calculation that needs to be done as well as looking for other outs
1) Skill expression is a thing... B) This is one of the healthiest metas ever. Would've killed back in the original galactus days for a time like this, where the dominant deck has a less than 50% win rate (is cube negative in most players' hands) & often loses to itself 🤣
Here’s my thing with Hela: she’s attractive to people who don’t want to think much, which means more people play the game by quite a lot, which means overall my odds of getting to keep playing the game are improved. Every time I have to play a Hela deck I roll my eyes. But if only high skill decks could perform well, the game’s probable lifespan goes down by, I don’t know, half?
Meta doesn’t really matter for me right now. I just wanted a new game mode, Kang reworked or a new big bad…..nothing. Idk once mtg mh3 drops I’m taking a break till draft mode (Arishem) and if that don’t help the fun factor I’m probably out. Don’t really mind economy bc 🐳 but meh

I got to level 73 after the season reset in 2 days. Obviously it's easy as its the 30 levels after the reset. I haven't climbed at all for the next 3 weeks and am at level 72. How can anyone climb when every match is against a different deck?

I have to imagine the devs don't like where Hela's at, they've made it clear with similar decks (like negative) they like when they exist but not when they're the best, which makes me have to imagine they're just really trying to find a fix for Hela that doesn't just kneecap her and it's just hard to find.
I still cannot believe a card that revives ALL discarded cards exists. Its so easy to balance out. Revive 1 random card to each location. That way, opponents csn play around it by going relatively tall in 2 spots. Or make Hela a 5 cost that revives the highest power card discarded. I dunno. Just throwing stuff out there. Im not a game designer.
One day Hela and Professor X will not be omnipresent in the format. I’ve hit infinite every single season since Hit Monkey came out and for the first time it feels like too much of a chore to grind to infinite because of the Professor Cannonball and Hela decks. In all honesty, Hela actually hasn’t turned up too much for me individually but I keep seeing the Professor X deck and it is just such a tiresome deck to play against. They killed off the old Spider-Man, so is it time to kill off Professor X?

I got to infinite with C3 after taking a break during the leech meta, it has so many tech cards that you can bypass most BS from other decks.

Red Baron Zemo is still and by far the best deck in the game. I just won 3 infinity contests out of 4 with it.

Oh good, between weekend missions and this video I'm now only seeing Sas decks in Conquest. Time to break out MMM I guess...

The fact that Shadowcat is still a series 5 is so strange to me. they literaly gave her away for free to every player at one point...
