I don't remember anyone telling "Do it so you'll fit in" I tried it just to try it and then I did to get the feeling. Nobody ever forced me to do anything, I did it because it felt good. I stopped because it started to feel not good.

Hello from Bogota Colombia. Cocaine never killed anyone when used property and not abused cocaine is actually an amazing drug. Come to Colombia 1 gram of pure uncut cocaine cost 5000$ pesos roughly 1.25$ usd. And the best part of it is you don't need to worry about it being mixed with fentanyl 💯💯💯💯💯

Trouble is when 'coming down' off it always need downers (personally tbh) & it was a range from Benzos to Heroin or both! Weed aswell & only positive is never got into boozing much. As for "sobriety date" well had plenty of them. So have learnt not to do that & 'keep it in the day' as relapse is easily @ ANY time. Known people 20 odd years sober & relapse. Also met plenty of liars in NA meetings so don't bother with them anymore. Lost faith so just take it day by day then those days turn to weeks then months etc etc

I’m sorry man, but in the end if you truly want to give this thing up, you’ve got to let it go. It’s literally like you’re still in love with this stuff by the continued videos, of which some I don’t agree with posting at all for recovery

Addiction is lifelong, as is recovery. I’m all for whatever helps him. I never considered myself an “addict” until I watched some of his videos tbh.

if he’s still in love with it then why be sober? he was in love with it before, and look where it got him. he’s not glamorizing it at all. he’s being vulnerable and admitting to the obsession he had and to an extent may still have, but he is IN LOVE with life, sobriety, his wife, things that he never knew before. as an addict myself (2.5 years sober), there are days i think about getting high, but, like eric, i have found a love for life, sobriety and my girl. if i was still “in love” with drugs, i would not be sober. we’re just not afraid to admit that the thoughts can still cross our minds, recovery and sobriety is an everyday struggle. addiction is a demon you have to kill and actively keep dead. it doesn’t go away the day you go to rehab or make it out of a rehab. it’s a monster that will continue to try you, and you have to tell it to fuck off. it will tempt you, and that’s where we as addicts should be vulnerable in admitting when the temptation is there, like eric. but it doesn’t mean we use again.

When the coke is gone the nightmare of coming down and waiting for it to wear off is not fun to go through. Thats why I made sure to have ambien or something to help sleep before even getting started. Although ambien is a whole other problem...

I take Concerta to sustain my relationship and friendship, sociability, I have Asperger Syndrome and ADHD, it helps me very well, but I have extra anxiety which I have anyways, in my normal state without the concerta so anyways I will continue to take it (MPH is less potent than Adderall or coke but I see it as a tool for my sociability, without it it’s really hard for me .. much harder than with concerta)

Oof the “let’s get a bag” just gave me that smiley feeling haha
You must have been getting decent coke then as I found it pretty easy to get off once my ex who I tended to do it with went out of my life and getting back to the rhythm I had before that of exercise etc was way more fun to get into

It's now in UK and has been for a while. Coke us EVERYWHERE. I'm 41yo and in my 20's you'd very rarely smell weed around pub yet now coke is nust overly normal now...I remember during lockdown people contacting as they where realising they had an issue because everyone bought their coke from the bub and the pub where closed.

Always preferred Crack, but as for why = just curious @ 1st & it was about/someone had some so bought a G. Before knew it had bought another gram & was hooked until discovered Crack. Did it all to get high! No reasonS behind it! Just ❤'d the buzz. Still get cravings now & that's when gotta be extra careful. People assume when quit, get life back on track can easily relapse from personal experience.
