This is exactly why I absolutely love this drama, it's the realistic emotions and feelings. Ji Woo wasn't actually lonely, he was just scared, he didn't trust people because they always leave him, so by leaving him first he thought he was protecting himself. He just needed to believe in himself first, to love himself first and his life for him to be able to love another person fully and enjoy life. He took the hard way but it's okay, he came along at the end. Before being honest with others, we must be honest with ourselves first.
you understood Ji woo my girl. He is literally ME🥺🥺
But y did they break up though..I haven't season 2..
"I did not break your heart, you broke(your own heart) and in breaking it, you broke mine." If you've ever read Wuthering Heights, that quote from the novel perfectly sums up these two.
That line from that novel by Emily Brontë is totally nonsense for this storyline here. 😂 😂 😂
That novel was not about love feelings reassurance... this Boys Love story is. 😏
@@JustThai_BoysLove I referred to a quote, not an entire novel, which is my own observation and perspective on this couple. You are welcome to yours, you may also have the last word...seems important to you. You're welcome.
@@schari30 I answered to that quote you give, and not to the entire novel either... because in the novel it didn't make any sense as well. That novel, this quote, and this BL Series deal with a question of choice... and not about breaking anybodies hearts. 😂 😂 😂
@@JustThai_BoysLove what they said made sense though. whether it made sense in the novel or not doesn't matter and it can totally be related to this bl cause hearts were broken.
@@ifyu7874 I don't see any broken hearts in this Series. I see two guys who are madly in love with each other but failed in their relationship while living together. This is a matter of choice, and not a matter of lacking love. It is just like in the novel. That quote the user sharri posted here is by Heathcliff talking to Catherine... and just a few lines later he says:
"I love MY murderer..." 😂 😂 😂
The whole talk about hearts being broken turns totally non sense since they both know very well that it was a matter of choice making... and they both understand WHY they acted in their own respective ways. That dialogue has both feelings of resentment and of forgiveness.... which is what people madly in love are capable to achieve. 😉
Those feelings are NOT part of this Series... since this Season 2 is about love reassurance.... the one thing Ji Woo asked Seo Joon in Episode 3 and remains unanswered. The same question Ji Woo made to Seo Joon in Episode 6 and still was not answered. The key question of this Season we are ALL waiting Seo Joon to answer Ji Woo for them to have a chance to start all over again. The question Seo Joon asked himself in Episode 3 while talking to his CEO and his manager after Ji Woo left with all his things: "WHY could I not answer THAT question...?" Hopefully he manages to answer it finally in the Season's Finale Episodes.
Cheers...!
Damn, it still got me with tears when I was just re-watching this scene.
Gosh....can't believe the series is already over.. Loved them thoroughly. Not just joon and woo but each and every character..., the CEO, joon's manager, woo's friends, kids, villagers..like everyone who was part of it and actors who played that role..💜💜 wish to see this cute couple soon again in another excellent project
i literally just finished this ep and i. am. devastated. HOW COULD (writer, director, whatever) DO THIS TO US??!😭😭💔
the secnse he realize that he wasn't nobody to sj he was the person he loved from heart and still wanting to know if he is doing well and wants you to be happy ...
ji woo ya go and give him warm hug OK.
I can't get out of this part 😭😭
Same, I cried so freaking much last episode 😭
Same here.....so sad....
im crying over and over even though it's my fifth time watching the series, but this clip i have seen more than a 100 times. Too painfull
It does not matter how many times i watched, it’s still gets me….. great acting and plot would do that i guess❤❤❤
this season is so good oh my goodness
I love this scene the best when JW read all the Joon text... I was crying so bad... both of them or so good in theirs characters. AWESOME .. love it.
This scene is really heart breaking... because Ji Woo's plan A may not come true...
and plan B is living in a memory box for the rest of his life. 😭 😭 😭
Ji Woo definitely underestimated Seo Joon love for him... but that was because he didn't feel it before. He was too lonely to feel how much Seo Joon was actually loving him. Because: What is the point of being love, and living together, but not feeling any of it...? 🤷♂️
So... he was not wrong thinking Seo Joon would forget him in not time either...
He just could not feel, it could be differently.... and that Seo Joon would really be looking for him a year later and show him how much he still mean to him.
We have a strong connection now between Ji Woo's confession of being extremely lonely from Episode 6 and the new flashback scenes of the time they were together. It was really a hard time on Ji Woo living together with Seo Joon. They really need a completely new start... or their relationship won't work at all. In the mean time they could be together as Ji Woo proposed in Episode 5 to Seo Joon as "partners", in an open relationship way... doing things together, but living officially in separated places... just like everybody does when they start a relationship... because is not like we all move together with our new boyfriend right away... do we...?? That was a way to build up their relationship again... but Seo Joon turned it down. Not realizing the chance of starting all over from the beginning was a huge mistake from Seo Joon. It is obvious he has not yet realized the ways out of this. He still believed they could go back to living just like before... which is non sense. And because he is still unable to see that he gave up in Episode 7... just like Ji Woo predicted it back in Episode 4:
JW - Do whatever you want to do. I am sure you won't stand doing this much longer.
I never expected that JUNG Sung Yoon would explain Ji Woo's way of thinking and foreseen things in the long term just the say way I did after Episodes 1 & 2. Even Ji Woo's friend journalist from Season 1 Lee Yoon Seul knew he is the kind of person to "always foreseen the worst scenarios before making any choices". The main idea comes in JUNG Sung Yoon's dialogue with Ji Woo by the end of Episode 8:
JSY - You are also expecting Seo Joon to realize why you are doing this?
JW looks at her like being caught "in fraganti" with all of his plans for the present and future:
JSY - But I think it most be really hard for someone like KANG Seo Joon to figure this out. You came all they way down here... just to be able to get back together with Seo Joon, right? (PLAN A) If it is not... then... you were looking for a way to let go of him completely. (PLAN B)
THAT is exactly what I said after watching Episode 2 was Ji Woo "plan" in the long term....!!
Originally I said after watching Episode 2 this Season was to have two alternative endings:
(PLAN A) Seo Joon would be able to process in this time the problems they faced while living together and find a way to star all over again in an open relationship way, slowly... the way Ji Woo proposed it to him back in Episode 5.
I supported my thesis at the very beginning on two points:
- The name of the restaurant: TI ASPETTO (I am waiting for you)
- The fragment of the poem by RUMI out of the English translation from "Mathnawi III, 1284-1288" under the restaurant name on the wall should tell also KANG Seo Joon why that place exits... but he seems not to be able to understand that English quote either:
"That’s how you came here, like a star
without a name. Move across the night sky
with those anonymous lights."
(PLAN B) Seo Joon wouldn't be able to stand the pressure and would give up.
The question now is IF Seo Joon could go back from Plan B to Plan A... figuring all this out....?
Because if not... How could Ji Woo convince Seo Joon of going for Plan A....? Yes... He failed before... but with all the new things that had happen Seo Joon may be able to see that to be the only way out of this to have a happy new start together.
We all know that Seo Joon's "I give up" at the end of Episode 7 was totally nonsense... because a few days later he was already there to make the second part of the TV show and even gave Ji Woo a small hard talk after it about being brave and standing for himself.
Even ifSeo Joone would like too... and even if he said it... he can't give up on Ji Woo... yet...
Is the same with Ji Woo... He may have left Seo Joon... but he can't stop loving him from far.
That shy and sweet "Are you alright?" in Episode 8 showed Seo Joon that he does care about him, and Seo Joon couldn't stand it.
"Stop worrying about me, and start worrying about yourself".
Priceless that scene...
Well... we will see tomorrow - Sunday 3rd July 2022 - how the story goes on. We have now just 2 more Episodes left.
Otherwise... HWANG Da Seul may have already planned to end this Season with an open ending...
and move forward with Season 3... next year.
Cheers…!
I thought this was the last bl I saw somewhere before no more bl
I loved your analysis.. you've definitely opened my eyes to more things.
Yessss.. this is on point.. 💞 this drama is brilliantly written..👌
@@simonlesley3163 I have no clue about what exactly you want to say... 🤔 🤨
@@neniliebo7901 You're welcome. For me in this scene highlight the key words by Ji Woo are:
"for him... I would become nobody in no time. I WISH it is NOT like that."
Despite of everything Ji Woo hoped to see how much Seo Joon actually loves him, and how far is he really going to move forward fighting for them to be together again. Here we HAVE TO connect the scene from Season 1 - Episode 8:
SJ - I am not toying with you. I am serious about being with you. Do you still want me to leave?
JW - Yes...
SJ - Alright then...
Ji Woo is shaken from Seo Joon not putting up a fight. He sees him getting his bags, and leaving... He wants a few very short steps like trying to stop him from leaving... to end up giving up. Seo Joon comes back:
SJ - No matter how much I think of this I can NOT just leave. When I think I will be without you... my heart feels like breaking... I really don't want to end it like this. (...) Ji Woo... If it is this hard for you... I will be the one taking the first step.
The entire Season 2 has been builded up from that key scene from the final Episode of Season 1. This Season is about the very same doubt Ji Woo felt back then in Season 1, in a deeper way now because of the lonely way he has been feeling while living with Seo Joon... a loneliness that has made him question how much does Seo Joon actually loves him now... and the answer to that question is about having the reassurance that KANG Seo Joon does loves him unconditionally. Ji Woo asked that to Seo Joon in Episode 3 just before leaving after picking up all of his things and got no answer. He asked him again in Episode 6 and still didn't get an answer. After these 8 long Episodes in Season 2 Ji Woo is still waiting for Seo Joon to give him that reassurance he gave him back in Season 1. THAT is the real and deep meaning of this entire Season 2.
Cheers...!
I really like ep 9 and 10 of to my star 2 i kept on watching it i love this couple and want to see them again in a follow up series please… thank you be safe God bless🙏🏻❤️🤗
I don't care about the ending anymore.. I just really wished for this drama to have season 3.. (crossed fingers)

GagaOOLala please make a follow up drama series for kangmin and woohyun i really really like their teamup i miss them after TMS2 please thank you congratz be safe all good luck God bles🙏🏻💖🤗
They love each other ... So much in love....
Please don't separate love
Han Ji Woo should love himself and hide no more...please love yourself Ji Woo so you can be free and able to love others, especially someone who are really love you
Ji Woo loves himself a lot already. That is why he left Seo Joon. Even on his own Birthday Seo Joon left Ji Woo waiting for hours with the cake and the candle lights.... seating alone at home. That is not what someone in love does... Is it...????
Is no wonder that Ji Woo left Seo Joon that very night... placing the birthday cake in a box and a short note on it. 😏
Now THAT is what someone with a strong self esteem does. To leave when realizing he is been neglected.
Cheers...!
@@JustThai_BoysLove Yep you are right.

And 4, and 5, and 6....
It is a happy ending. No worry~
@@wei5193 yes but don't you want more season's ?🌚
If there's going to be a happy ending, hope it only comes after a time jump in the last 2 episodes.
JW must work to get SJ back, earn his trust (how can he - abandoned by his own parents - ever trust that JW won't abandon and ghost him yet again?) and work for forgiveness for all the deliberate cold harshness since SJ finally found him in the village.
Or if there's going to be S3, episodes 9-10 should be a slow rebuilding of the destroyed relationship, with an open ending that leads to reconciliation in S3.
Anything else would be a let down - just to shoehorn a false ending - in 2 episodes - after 8 joyless episodes of emotional abuse.
PLS STOP, I DO NOT WANT TO CRY ANYMORE.
y'all should post the to my star season 2 episode 10 kiss scene where ji woo was caught when he left his phone !!!
I don't understand Korean Language, But I Can Understand Kang Seo Joon's Situation... Because I Lived That Kinda Hell For Sake Of Love.... Consuming Myself To Weak.
I Couldn't Eat, Sleep, Go To Work, Concentrate on Studies, Stuck In My Room, Above All Crying 2,3Hours... I Lost Myself...
No One Deserves This Kinda Heartbreak....
IF you were really in Seo Joon's situation then you were a lousy girlfriend for sure.... 😏
Because that is what Seo Joon is here in this Season 2... a shitty boyfriend who was unable to realize his boyfriend was feeling totally lonely when he was not around. 😒
Failing in a relationship is a great school.... for everyone not to make the same mistakes over and over again.

Esta serie es tan bonita ,sólo tengo hambre.:)
I understand cracks in relationships, although I still believe you can overcome this with just talk. They are not so young so, they could find a way, it’s clear the love is there
This is not about a lack of talking anymore... is about a lack of love feelings reassurance and of trust. 😏

Now its enough i dont know ..i always wanted them to have a happy ending ...but now i feel the real happy ending would if they go on separate ways..because seo joon loved ji woo whole heartedly but ji woo was just not ready to accept that he is loved...so he hurted seo joon alottttt..i dont want to understand his side at all and i cant understand...from my pov ji woo might be hurt but he is selfish as well...so ots better for seo joon to start a new life and for ji woo start accepting that that he isn't lonely there were people who cared about him and will always be there

شح تستاهل
I watched this episode three times and tried very hard to look for something that I feel was not there. You guys might disagree with me. I am a very emotional person and cry at the drop of a hat....BUT, I did not shed one tear. Ji Woo has shown no emotions during his relationship and maybe that's what the writer and director wanted. He seemed, at times cold and heartless and now it has come back and slapped him in the face. There is no emotion in his face until he starts to cry. I think maybe the writer and director relied so much on Ji Woo not showing anything at all in his face, that maybe, just maybe those scenes came back also to slap them in the face. I know they will probably get back together, but, for me, it ruined what I thought was a masterpiece.....no longer. AND what was with the stupid scenes involvong his ex. Why was that thrown in here. He not only had zero emotions, but also zero guts to explain to her EXACTLY how he felt now towards her and how he really feels about the other person.
You couldn't shed any tears because you have not been able to understand Ji Woo as character, and because you don't like the way he has been created. Ji Woo was the same in Season 1. That is who he is: A very shy and introverted character. We could see him quite similar to Chu Sang Woo from "Semantic Error"... what physical expressions altogether are... specially with people he is not close too... but you need to see his actions are his way to communicate. He does not say or express feelings... he act on then in many different ways. He waited hours all by himself waiting for Seo Joon to come home. He was happy going out the very few times they did and acted protective of him.... and so on. He is the one to show affection with his actions.... and not with empty words like Seo Joon.
As for the scenes with JUNG Sung Yoon... they are NOT stupid in any way... 😂 😂 😂
They explain Ji Woo experience dealing with 2 completely self centered people who in his most difficult times were unable to see and realize how much he was struggling... and to understand him back well. The key line on this is from Episode 6 by Ji Woo talking to JUNG Sung Yoon: "No matter who is by my side... there are times when I NEED someone else."
In that dialogue (the part on Episode 7) he was very clear to her, when talking about the couple's bracelet she made years back:
"SINCE I don't wear it too, is not a couple's bracelet anymore."
I think that was a 100% clear explanation of how he feels about her now... and her expressions after listening to that shows that she understood it perfectly too. I think the dialogues between JUNG Sung Yoon and Ji Woo are the most interesting ones on this Season, because in their conversations we get to know Ji Woo and his way of thinking much deeper and clearer than from his talks with Seo Joon.
Cheers...!
I understand what you are saying nad it is true that a lot of the time it is very hard to read Jiwoos emotions but I know he was portrayed by the actor as emotionless, for lack of a better word. Maybe I just see it more because I am a lot like Jiwoo, hiding your emotions with all your might so as not to get hurt but hurting yourself in the process. Thats just a defense mecanism you develop after so many people being mean to you non stop (like the villagers) When you develop a fear of abandnoment, after it happening to you multiple times, the thought process just becomes theyre gonna leave sooner or later so I have to do it before they do so I dont get hurt. But ya know thats bullshit cuz it hurts even more, you just dont let yourself feel it. Idk if this makes any sense sorry what Im basically trying to say you just build so many walls that you barely let yourself feel anything. Sorry its so long, Im not trying to argue or anything
@@canabereal 😂 😂 😂 Just because Ji Woo don't show most of his emotions physically to others does NOT mean he doesn't feel anything. Is actually 100% the opposite, na. We just had a similar character in a Thai BL Series "Star In My Mind" (a similar title to this Korean Series)... and is just because there are people like that: shy and introverted... as personalities... and there is nothing wrong about that. That is who they are. 🤷♂️
