Remember, there's a limited number of slots available for every position on an NFL team, and there is always someone else who wants your position. If a young athlete wants to come in and change, or in other words, lower the standard, or need to take a "mental health play", they'll just choose someone else who don't.

You should know your limits, but if your limits are too low, you belong on the bench.

Maybe AR is starting a trend for younger athletes; to look out for your own health and well being and don’t be shy to take a break.
