Nice find! I love that you show places off the beaten trail. Adds a lot of depth and character to the country! Thank you for doing that.
That's what I love to show. Not interested in the same places everyone else shows.
Nice to see you guys bouncing humor and misbehavior off each other. Will you be doing at least another Vid of Tanjay before you head home? Anyway, Cheers!
PS: I would have bought most of that Tuna...& eat raw...yum!
Eating it for dinner tonight actually
May God keep helping you tolerate and enjoy each other. You keep turning happier by the week.
Thank you for that comment. Every day that goes by I realize even more how lucky I really am.
Almost forgot, until you mentioned your investments! Taking them for a walk?😂😂😂
lol 😇
@@ItsMe_Philippines I assume better half feeling good now? Did you witness change in confidence? Most get big boost. Please tell her she looking great, be happy!
Im a subscriber since your here in the PH sir... And im from tanjay city..thank you for visiting Tanjay City
Awesome! Thank you!
Never heard of Tanjay City and was surprised about the population number vs. Dumaguete, especially after looking at the city area on Google Maps. But apparently those ~85k people are in an area roughly 8x as big as Dumaguete City, so it counts everything around the actual city away as well (103 vs. 13 sq miles).
When you were walking around the audio was set for you talking on the left channel and her on the right. I use headphones and am deaf 70% in the left ear so I could barely hear you and she was perfect. If I could suggest, make the audio equal to both left and right channels.
Same here. I couldn't hear a word that Cory was saying, but could hear Raquel clearly.
New gear and corrected the problem for future videos.
ITS CORY AND RAQUEL 😂
I just can't get over the food prices. All of that at dinner for $11??
Yup!!!!!
You can prolly get a hotdog 🌭 for $11 in some country's, if your careful. French Frys w/it will be closer to $15. 😆
@@Mountain_Valley_Sky ehhhh
just try to get that 11$ per day, when you work in phili and you will understand.
@@klllddd saw homeless guy in San Francisco sellin hotdogs 🌭 for $10.00 ea.
Baked his own buns. said secret ingredient was stagnant water from back ally in dough. 🍞 Gave his bun that authentic Homeless taste.
Gave him the $10 bucks & said he could eat it. He said he gets that alot, after handing over the dog & revealing the secret recipe.
I will be coming to the Philippines when I retire to stay. Been watching Dumaguete vlogs for so long but its quickly becoming unappetizing for me to consider it. I had seen some videos on Tanjay but not as in-depth as yours so I appreciate that. Its definitely on my list to consider. Always enjoyable watching your videos and Rachel is amazing as always. You two seem to mesh well.
Thank you and we go to Duma for the movie theater or to get certain things but I could not live there.
@@ItsMe_Philippines Have you ever been to Bayawan. The population has it a little more than Dumaguete but it may be like Tanjay, a little more spread out.
@@bryankoziar2867 I have but only for lunch while driving through. Sounds like I'll have to revisit. Thank you
curious if Rachel loves your "investment" as much as you surely do - I think yes. You got so lucky with her - and her with you - just such an adorable couple!!!! I'm convinced there are no women anything like your wife in USA - so curious - is she just an amazing one off or are there others/even many perhaps, Filipinas with her type of cute/fun/adorable/sublimely sexy/always happy personality? If this was 2053 not 2023 I'm sure I would not be only guy willing to pay for s small DNA sample so to buy a cloned replicant of her. I can't believe how much she eats? You I get- I know you both work out 6 days a week and do cardio on day 7 but you have to be way more than 2 x her weight. She can't be more than 95 lbs and knowing you are 5'9" guessing you must be at least 210lbs - both with maybe 6% body fat Yeah from watching your show I've lowered my height requirement to 4'9" - maybe 4'8" if anything like your wife and I'm 6'.
I stay around 190-210lb depending on weather I'm adding weight or cutting down. Around 8-10% bf and going lower makes me grumpy from lack of calories. She goes from 80-85lb and has never hit 90lb before so yes, I'm always double her size or more. She is slightly short here so you can find girls here from 4'10-5'2 no problem my friend.
Wow. The food looks so good! And both of your sense of humor cracks me up.
The city looks good too. Glad you enjoy the new camera. Have a great time there.
GOD bless you both.
Thank you! Have a lot to learn with the new camera and gimble but the only way to get better is by getting out there and pressing record!
@@ItsMe_Philippines well you have a beautiful place in the Philippines and a beautiful young wife to practice those camera skills on.
really miss the atmosphere there in the Philippines. and its always fun trying to do the quick math calculations in your head when shopping for things. i just started getting simple with it and using 1000p= 20usd as my reference point. but your right everyone was always friendly and customer service was excellent
Very friendly people!
@@ItsMe_Philippines Do the 2 of you plan on having Kids in the Future
@@DarthRevan-rp5sn noooooooo
@@ItsMe_Philippines Lol! You sound a little hesitant... Are you suuuuuure..? 🤣
Since the exchange rate between USD and PHP is about 1:50, I find that for "quick head math" it's easiest for me to divide by two, and then multiply by 100.
You're becoming to be a Filipino. Hangyo hangyo jud. Hangyo gamay. No suki yet at the market? Kulas (the becoming Filipino channel) he's got suki at the market.
4:03 she wasn't trying get you in trouble..you inadvertently called her a " loser"😅
hahaha she's always trying to set me up
@@ItsMe_Philippines lol
Hi Bro, glad you got to use your new equipment, enjoy the nightlife and your wife is still very funny, trying to trip you up when you say things to her. some people don't realize how hot it is over there, even at night. Enjoy and I will keep in touch
Thanks bro, and this set up was great but it was heavy after a while in the sun!
Diet Rite has lots of flavors. It's all over Cebu. I mostly buy the little glass bottles from local vendors in the province and pay 7.5 pesos for 237 milliliters. And they use unrefined cane sugar vs the highly processed corn syrup.
Thank you!
Lmao….”my stomach is small”. Response: “good, keep it that way”. Man I love you guys. SMASH THAT LIKE BUTTON!
That's important to me and she knows that lol
@@ItsMe_Philippines lmao 🤣 Love you bro. Take care 💪🏼
the audio is mainly in one ear for most of the video so I'd personally switch the audio too mono.
just thought I'd mention it.
First time using this set up and learning. Thank you for the constructive criticism!
3:50 you did say " she's a loser"..but I think maybe you was tired and just slurred your words😅
lol
It's about time for ur vlog!you keep me waiting .
Hope you enjoyed it!
Nice bro your physically fit nice
I appreciate that!
Fantastic, I always like watching your videos. Great look at some unknown spots, little walk and talk is really the best way to make videos for people who really want to see what the day to day and small vacation spots are like rather than talking about it from the house with pictures. Thank you guys, I wish you well and look forward to the next place.
It's already recorded and it will be up this week.
@@ItsMe_Philippines very cool, I'll keep my eyes open
Your sugar free Coke half our price here in Costa Rica. Not to mention your restaurant prices!😮😮😮
Really? Interesting, I'm not up to speed on your cost of living over there. How's rent?
@@ItsMe_Philippines crazy expensive, friend lives in house very similar to yours 500 m from beach though, he pays $3,000 usd peak season, $2,000 balance of the year. Cute small pool. OUR FOOD MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE! :) IMPLANTS $4,000 TO $5,000 !
Hello beautiful people, I love your videos. I was in Tagaytay, Dumaguete, Siguiior, and Apo island, May 24 through June 7. I LOVE THE PHILIPPINO PEOPLE! The nature is unbelievable, and nature is where I believe God resides. I would love to move there as soon as possible, but as soon as I got back, I was tested for cancer, (positive), which will hold me back from coming as soon as I would like. Keep up the good work so I can live through you to vicariously.
Thank you and come back soon!
Very sorry for your diagnosis. I hope it's treatable. God bless.
You guys are a great role model for how rich a simple life can be. Phillipines or Filipinas are key? Or both? The right Filipina of course. Thanks good striong content laced video.
Both!
Since there is not a lot of foreigners what i like, how is the communication there with locals and their English?
Seemed pretty good but I have been practicing the local language so I use that as much as I can
You guys just keep adding places for me to check out as I will be in Dumaguete visiting soon and trying to see where i will end up living. And shooting up to Tanjay or Bias seems like a great thing. And the resort was very nice and as usual love your giggling sweet wife. Ps your allot more mellow since the house build is done and now can just enjoy .. Indiana farm boy got passport in hand
Congrats and safe travels my friend
It seems like everything there is decorated like a Mexican fiesta all the time. You guys are glowing
I tell people this often. "If you were taken blind -folded in Phils or Mexico and took down all the signs, it would be difficult to tell them apart ." Most of the trees are similar or the same as the beaches. The mountains in phils do seem steeper. That's one difference.
Thank you and great point
How can such a little woman eat that much food? lol
I've been asking that for years.
I’m sitting in Cebu airport watching this video . My month is up back to Alaska tonight. You ever get over to Davao head to the Tagum public market it’s huge . I was getting grocery bags full of giant prawns for 25 to 30 us .
Will do thank you
2:37...😅😅😅😅😅😅
Wow. 8000 expats in Duma? Getting crowded.
Haven't seen any other vlogs on Tanjay. Is it the next "thing"?
Keep up the good work 💪
Thank you and when I go there I can't leave without seeing 100 a day
All passport Bros or who lives there?
Hey buddy how are ya? So nice to spend time with you both. I really enjoy visiting new places off the beaten path over as well. I hope to go back over soon but gotta get a few projects done here up on the mountain. Take care thanks for sharing God bless you both.
Thank you my friend!
Can definitely see the improvement in camera quality! Good stuff!
Thank you for saying that! Still have a lot of practicing but there's only one way to get better!
I enjoy watching your videos. I laugh at the playful banter between you and your wife. I see that beauty runs in your wife’s family, though I could never see myself moving to the Philippines. I don’t like hot weather. Take care
Thank you
Cory ! I’m amazed how cheap food is there. I often go to Macca,s when doing transfers near the airport in Sydney. Just a coffee and a toasted sandwich cost more than the food you ordered. Absolutely amazing…cheers guys ❤❤❤
Good prices here for sure
Ive been hooked on your you tube videos! You both have my envy and my admiration. Retired Marine here, my name is Neal. Your wife has 3 sisters and are they available for conversation? I really like how you guys met and when you finally did meet you met her family but you went back to hotel and met up in the morning to start a new and exciting day. Much respect. keep the great vids going.
Thank you, Neil and Semper Fi, brother!
Great video. Love your content 👍🏼 Can your tell me what camera & gimbal your using. As you say the quality at night is excellent.
Thank you! I'm still new with it so I will keep improving. Sony FX30 cinema camera, Sony 11mm vlogging lens for wide shots, Sony 16-55mm for land/city shooting, both with variable ND filters, held on a DJI Ronin RS3 Gimble.
Awesome Vlog. Happy to see that you are enjoying living in the Philippines. Have fun, and enjoy the country. you will make many friends there.
It's easy to love this country and the friendly people!
Ha ha ha, how cheap is that Tuna. Even your meals how are cheap compared to the UK. So brilliant. Thanks for your videos
Thanks for watching!
Wow! Eat like a healthy king so inexpensively! Amazing.
Just incase you feel like coming back home Corey....4.54K (10 pounds) of Tuna from Costco (not fresh) is $160.00 USD! $2.40 per pound vs $16.00 and the quality is not comparable!
I am very fit and was concerned about finding a good place to work out with free weights heavy enough for me...Apparently also not an issue! I love it!
I appreciate your channel!
Wow prices just keep going up I see! It was expensive eating healthy in the states but here the junk food is what's expensive and the healthy stuff is cheap. I like it this way!
@@ItsMe_Philippines That blows my mind dude! I really enjoy your videos! Cheers!
@@jamiecoburn1231 Thank you!
it's Tagpila ? ( how much) first words I learned, Love the Markets
Yes, it is!
Such a nice video, I have actually been thinking about what tanjay city had to offer and if there was these awesome markets shown in the video. But now I know, thank you to both of you for sharing, what is our there in pH.
Thank you and we really liked it. Heading there tomorrow actually.
I love your videos, you guys are awesome. I am planning to come out the Philippines in January to meet my new gf in Davao City. Can't wait to see your next adventure!.
I've yet to see that city. Enjoy your trip my friend.
Sent you an email as I think youtube is blocking the post I tried to submit. Probably because it talks about a product and they don't allow advertising.
I got it regarding the sugar free drinks! thank you
Lol funny you mentioned it in the video but i wasnt subscribed so when i tried looking for the channel, i just typed its me. You have to include philippines.
Yeah typing "it's me" on the internet is going to pull up 10k things lol
Looking jacked my brother!!
Cant wait to land in september. Any tips ?
Can you recomend any gyms in manilla nd cebu ?
Thank you! Where you landing or what island(s) you heading to?
Just curious who makes that bag you’re carrying. That strap looks beefy enough to thwart theft by cutting the strap
Good question, I'd have to check. Use it to hold my camera gear and extra batteries and it's strong and comfortable.
Can’t wait to go to the Philippines, beautiful place my future wife
Congrats and what island(s) you planning on seeing?
No Skin Tax in that market ?
I'd have to go back alone to give you an accurate answer.
Your haggling skills are quite good. That really is the way to go with PH local wet markets, you can haggle for the best price. I used to accompany my grandma to our local markets too and she always make it a point to haggle. Can't do that really with the supermarkets. Good job!
Thank you!
Corry, I didn't see or hear the camera brand and model? I think I missed something. You two are great to watch.
Thank you! Sony FX30 cinema camera, Sony 11mm vlogging lens for wide shots, Sony 16-55mm for land/city shooting, both with variable ND filters, held on a DJI Ronin RS3 Gimble.

So glad to see your vlog

What's your work out routine (maybe a video)? Are you doing TRT or anything? What sups you taking?
My workout is to much to write in a comment. I don't even like food in a bag or box so I avoid all supplements other than creatine.
Thank you for visiting my hometown!😊
We went back yesterday! Love the market there!
