Hey. When I clicked on this video, a box showing information about my country's self-oofing hotline is appearing under the title. Has this happened to anyone else?
Man…it’s fucking crazy to me that 9/11 would make this list due to the fact that people were live chatting about it as it was occurring, because it reminds me of how many internet users nowadays weren’t alive during that time. I was alive during that time. I live close enough to NYC that our school went into immediate lockdown. I remember the chaos it caused. The sickening feeling that life is even worse than we thought. That something so horrible could happen. Truth be told, 9/11 marked the the end of my apathy for politics or world events. And showed me the true nature of humanity and of governments (our own most of all). Real, true horror, perpetrated by a few upon countless. Life has never been what it once was before 9/11. And as the years go on and we discover more and more, the bleaker and bleaker it gets. The least I can do is be aware of it.
I get the feeling that if there was a wife death note that it would be taken down instantly. Who knows though this internet is strange so there probably already is a wife death note thing out there….. creepy
This is so bad they have a suicide hotline number. Ive been there after the things I've seen in my nearly 30 years of life. It feels like when you see too many things that you can't shake and people see it in your eyes. I am envious of those with any semblance of innocence in this world because I was once a hopeful child now I just suffer a never ending cycle of mental illness from the trauma I've experienced and witnessed. Your brain blocks out major portions of your life and starts to slow down as your mental functions aren't as they used to be. Everything isn't as interesting as it used to be when you were younger. Can't get into games, movies, music. You just put on a mask to make it seem like you are okay doing pretty much nothing while each of your days slip by in front of your very eyes. If you have any hope or innocence left get help and try to preserve some of your humanity because people can see with my mental illness im hardly a person anymore.
That husband one hurt me it makes me feel weak and sad why just why would you be happy about such things it makes you worse than the person your with i wish everyone happiness, love and success godspeed everyone godspeed
My friend, I don't think you know the first thing about abusive relationships. It's not good to feel like you want your spouse to die, but in some cases you just feel so trapped that it feels like your spouse dying is the only way out. This is especially a problem in Japan, what with its sexist culture. Please don't even try to say "it makes you worse than the person you're with" because I'm sure that you don't even know how bad some people have it in abusive relationships.
That timing though... ''at some point we might be able to look back after an even more horrific event and see people in fear react as it unfolds'' I see this was posted 23th of feb, 1 day before Russia invaded Ukraine. I know it's not considered as shocking as world trade center, at least not to people in the US.' Not that it's a pissing contest, lots of horrific things has happened since and more will surely occur. I just thought it was like ''perfect'' timing, us here in Europe who lives close to the war, it is quite frightening since it's the first time we had a war going on in Europe in almost a 100 years. 1941 was considered the latest EU war before this.

the husband death note stuff is prob mostly larping but I wouldn't be surprising if at least some of the post on there are true and the woman on there are fully serious on wanting there husband's to die
the husband death note thing is interesting. some of those women are probably just psycho but despite Japan being a first world country, they're a lot more 'traditional' (and sexist) than we are in the west. Divorce rate is much lower. This is a problem here too but since traditional relationships are more common there, as in women staying at home caring for the kids while the man works, it can be impossible for a woman to leave with no income and no work experience even in an abusive relationship. Even if it's not severe abuse a lot of freedom can be taken from you. Maybe they feel their only way out is if their husband dies. I've heard some other not so great stuff about Japan's attitude toward women and marriage but surprisingly never heard of this site. very interesting. I wonder what other weird niches there are online that we just don't know about because of the language barrier.
@@BuetifullPersun but then you realize that, especially in the US, religions like Christianity (the main religion here) pushes marriage to the extreme to the point where people are pressured to marry people they don’t even know for the sole purpose of fulfilling “their duties”. cringe ass comment you wrote, and shit like the stuff you and that other response said are why abusive marriages last so damn long. victim blaming ass.
Not every woman that marries WANTS to marry their spouse. Like the original commenter said, Japan is very traditional when it comes to relationships and marriage. A woman might be pressured into marrying someone she doesn’t love just because he got her pregnant. Don’t blame the women, there are millions of evil men out there
About that death note site: The fact that it's a Japanese site is interesting, and not just because of the actual Death Note anime that it seems to be based off of. It more has to do with the fact that, from my understanding, Japan is a lot stricter when it comes to marriage than the US is, so there's probably a higher chance that a lot of women there are more unhappy with their relationships, especially when considering that some women sometimes don't get the choice of who their marriage partner will be, AND there's very little that they can do to get out of their marriage, which is probably why a forum like that would thrive over there. Not to mention just how lecherous some men over there can sometimes be. It's pretty fucked up.
So with the uhh i*c*l, i find them interesting. You see, I'm a lesbian who has been dealt an incredibly cruel hand. i have a learning disability and ehlers danlos syndrome, and grew up in an abusive household where i ended up dating a man for several years so my grandparents didnt hurt me. (I did end up breaking up with him, it was amiable, he's a good guy im sure hes making someone super happy) in my twenties, i do still hate them. i am also not super great at dating, but have decided to date myself instead. I take all of the focus that i want to give a partner, that I want a partner to give me-- and happily give it to myself. i grew up lonely, isolated -- but I definitely have never taken someone's life, so where's his excuse? i even have very low self esteem, but eventually i came to recognize that giving myself the love i deserve was the ultimate act of rebellion. Maybe it's a framing issue, like a glass empty or full situation. Maybe we as a society should move in a direction where vulnerability and mental health help isn't treated as a taboo for men. Also with the husband deathnote, i get that too. surprise surprise, my grandpa abused my grandma too! She verbally told me she wished he'd drop dead, and for a long time, part of me still wished it after i escaped. i realized he didn't deserve any energy from me. However, leaving an abuser is a monumentally difficult task. My roommates had to help me unlearn years of brainwashing, and theres still things I get caught on. The trauma the abuser inflicts onto you, is like a leash, because usually after the abuse, they're nice for a while. I hope alot of these women can leave their husbands and live the lives they deserve. The freedom that I have experienced since October 28th, 2018, has been nothing but exhilarating.
I thought you were gonna talk about the terrorist attack that Newgrounds prevented. One of their users was about to set a school on fire, but was thankfully stopped and arrested before he could do any damage
