- Le courant de « La Jument » se déplace à plus de 9 nœuds au plus fort de la marée. Et c'est ce qui en fait le deuxième courant le plus puissant d'Europe. En pratique 9 noeuds de courant correspondent à une vitesse de 4 mètres à la seconde : un peu comme si une rivière coulait en plein milieu de la mer
