This remix has everything for me. A great mix between "beautiful" like most of the ice tracks, the sad/deep melody, and the "Xtreme" part which describes an intense, yet dangerous race. To be honest, I feel emotional and hyped at the same time while listening to it. In other words, you, sir, gave a new breath to an highly underrated F-zero theme. Can't wait for the others tracks of MV.
I never used to like MV fullstop. But it takes time to appreciate the track designs and the music, especially if you turn it to something more aggressive, as that's what it should be in F-Zero.
I think the one criticism I have is that the faster drums disrupt the tranquility and wonder of the original track. I know that balls-to-the-wall rock is what F-Zero X is all about, but I feel that this song is just meant to be down-tempo to convey the serenity of Ancient Mesa. I’m not saying this is bad by any means. It’s a solid remix. It just doesn’t evoke the same feelings that the original did for me.
Brawler_1337 looking at f zero x's end credits theme and for example, the death match theme, makes me wonder if there's a way to use those drum snares exusive to those soundtracks to bring done the tone of the remix. But I understand what you mean.
Always felt it had a sort of sombre or desolate feel to it, but nicely done!
The intro definitely did, until it turned Xtreme.
True that, here dat guitar breaks right through the ice to show whos boss!!

This remembers me Tony Thay's Silence SNES in F-Zero X style, a calm theme that has a secret loudly potencial behind! :D
I have Played F-Zero: Velocity I forgot it had such good musics
Yeah! F-zero maximum velocity, nice job!
Now it feels more like a Sub-nautica stage. Kudos :)
