Well, something unfortunately those of us not in the Northeast or that have deep pockets will probably ever experience. Would LOVE to go to at least 1 National, but they really should put one in the middle of the country so more collectors could have equal access. Maybe KC would be a great idea. Lots of space on both sides of the state line and suburbs, plenty 9f hotels, conference centers, sprint center, etc.... They did fine with the draft. We had our own Soccer trade night - otherwise we would have showed up. Good news is we also exceeded the number of people who showed up. We will need double the space for soccer next year. The Soccer Hobby is growing and growing and The Hobby in general is in a good place. See you in Burbank?
Congrats on a great event. You are looking to make it better, I would ask people to write you ideas. Looking at it through video it must be really hard to find things or advertise what you have to trade. WHAT IF...You had a small app and those that come out can download it and post what area they are located in, what they are looking for, and what they have to trade? Imagine walking into a huge room like that and scanning the posts quickly to see where you want to go. Just a thought... You could actually make it available at other trade nights. Just give them a code when they come in that links them to that specific trade night.
Next time you see him let em know the hobby sees through the funneling of high end cards to consumers via breaker exclusives and doesn't much care for it.
An improvement would be to have "Tradenight" doors open during the day instead of 3 whole hours. Would be great to be able to go in there during the day. Might also give more folks an opportunity to get in there as well as more overall people will be in there throughout the day. I don't care about 'taking attention away from the show', there are already enough people at the show. I'm sure people don't go in there for all the hours its open.
