I’ve just returned from Italy. We traveled from from Milan to Como to cinque terre to amalfi and Capri and more. YOU and your video teachings helped me immensely. Ordering, Food or drink, checking in at a hotel, shopping…on and on. You are awesome!
Love your videos !!! I'm trying to learn Italian on my own and I'm having a problem with understanding a and o at the end of a word. I know it is "a" is masculine and "o" is feminine but let me give you an example. If I want to say "a neighbor" is it un Vicina or un Vicnio? I hope I explained this correctly.... what is the difference between un and una as well?
Great questions, Edon. These are really the foundations of the Italian language. In the specific case of neighbor, we will have both versions: "vicino" for a man, "vicina" for a woman. As for "uno" and "una" those are articles, equivalents to "a, an" in English. I have a dedicated "Italian Grammar Playlist" here on RUclips that you may want to have a look at: ruclips.net/p/PLaeKp_sNLJVxeC1YPlXXhCtSwlUGmxOVv For a more structured learning, with video classes and interactive exercise, you can check out my Italian 101 program: www.valentinastellatutor.com/how-to-enroll-in-the-italian-course-101/
