- UK Level Crossings in Slow-Motion. A compilation of level crossings I've filmed over Summer 2016 and reduced in speed for a special, unique video.
The crossings were all labelled during the video but here's them listed below:
1. Betchworth Level Crossing, Surrey
2. Whyteleafe Level Crossing, Surrey
3. Gillingham Level Crossing, Kent
4. Blythe Bridge Level Crossing, Staffordshire
5. Caverswall Level Crossing, Staffordshire
6. Stallington Road Level Crossing, Staffordshire
Thanks For Watching! - Игры
I REALLY ABSOLUTELY LOVE LEVEL CROSSINGS AND THE LEVEL CROSSINGS ARE MY FAVOURITE
Same here 😀
Stallington LC sounds like an Irish instrument you often hear in Celtic themed compositions.
Cool can’t wait for more 😺
:D
First one is my new favourite song!
Haha
I remember as a child in the mid 70’s and the 80’s we had a level crossing @ BRIDGE STREET NORTHAMPTON, when the yellow light came on, it was a bell that rang, and the border around the lights was plain white rather than red and white, the crossing is still there, but it’s gone into disarray, it was part of the NORTHAMPTON to BEDFORD line, cut by the Beaching the Butcher.
What kind of bell is it fast or slow and what barriers did it had NRS or GWE
Put the video on 2x speed then it’s at normal speed :)
They all sound like they are broken or knackered when they are in slow motion it’s a bit creepy but interesting to try
It is quite interesting to watch. I will be making a new video on this probably soon.
Caverwsll level crossing
1.5 to 2x fast forward and it sounds close to normal(ish)
Me: OK Betchworth. I need you to code sower this time pls. It's for content.
Betchworth: I exist for safety!
Great video btw
3:43 whoa!
Blythe Bridge is like the ambience in a horror game just before the monster gets you.
Also Caverswall Road is like your computer failing
Yeah lol - The sounds the alarms make in slow motion are so creepy.
UK Level Crossings You can really hear the 'Yodel' too
UK Level Crossings Make a slow mo of double stops- I bet it will sound like normal yodalarms
xBreadStick96 - Vlogs and Gaming You can also slow down normal videos while you are watching them. Try it on a computer or ?maybe a TV?
Ive done a couple of these, at Cromwell and Barnby Lane LC's
Yeah, I was just going to do another single video but I instead decided to join a load together.
If u put on 2x its like normal but with bad alarms
If you put an E2S alarm on 2x it sounds like the fast alarm you would get on an AHBCL crossing
I have always wondered why the barriers go down two at a time and all four go up in one go.Whyteleafe also features in Enid Blyton's Naughtiest Girl books.
It’s so drivers can escape
@@LevelCrossingFan92 caverwsll level crossing
@@camronlacey5025 all crossings
just high mill alarm low-pitched lol
2x speed its in normal speed and runs smoothly :D
Sounds like an old fashioned siren used on emergency vehicles! lol😂
Yeah, it does sound quite low-pitched.
to make it full speed, just hold shift and hit > on your keyboard 3 times. but it wont change the tone of the alarms, no
Maybe a slo-mo so your camera is on a tripod past the barriers by the track (on the grass) to watch the barriers go down and the train go past as if you were standing on the grass.
speed it up to 2x and its normal
the barriers lowering at Betchworth & Whytleafe is the same speed that 3rd Generation GWE barriers lower in real life.
Yeah probably. Half the speed that these ones lowered at.

They should keep the alarms at this tempo!Much better on the eardrums!
+Amanda Smith Yeah lol
Go in fast motion it sounds like a normal level crossing
Yeah, that's quite funny
Set to 2x speed
Just low pitch
Blythe Bridge is just funny!
Yeah, lol
Plus the angle you got Whyteleaf when the amber was on, it looked Irish for a bit.
What do you mean by Irish?
It looks like one of them crossings In Ireland
+Joe Thorpe Oh, by the means of the double wigwag and GWE barriers. I see.
Joe Thorpe 1
Wiebe Fokkinga WOOOOW!! 1/one doesn't make a difference, idiot!
I listened to this in 0.25x speed
try putting the vid at lowest playback speed!
Sounds like a cs8 hi-lo
WARNING! Time has been slowed down
The first level crossing sounded a little funnny, perhaps all of them did!
Lol, I might do another video of this. Most of the alarms sound really flat-tone.
What do you mean by 'flat-tone'?
What I really meant was 'low-tone'. The alarms in this video have very low and flat sounds, if you know what I mean :)
OK, I understand. The Stallington level crossing's alarm sounds like a fire engine! Most of all, in 2016, I didn't hear of your channel.
Some of them sound very concerning and eerie
2x speed is pretty much normal with weird sounding alarms
1.75x
If you go into settings and click playback speed you can change it the X0.25! It sounds awful!
Harry Marriott I did it I think I have nightmares due to this
How come some level crossing lights have dark rings in them unlike more traditional traffic lights. Modern level crossing lights now seem to be the dot matrix type.
There's different styles of road traffic signals at level crossings. The ones seen at 1:55 are Halogen type and the ones seen at 1:04 are LED type. Network Rail are replacing the Halogen Type signals at any UK Mainline Railway Crossings which still have them.
UK Railway Hub It's the halogen ones that have the dark rings in them then. I'd just like to know what they look like inside, if you removed the colour cover. What is that dark ring?
I think that's the outline of the bulb, simply.
They sound weird in slow motion
Yeah they do, very low sound
If you put it on 2*0 it sounds like a normal British crossing
What is the speed of this slow-motion?
I think its just less than 0.5x normal speed.
Train come and gone barriers too slow lol
Strange alarm
Its quiet too.
😎
😎👍
Why slow motion?.
Something different 😉
Almost Indonesian
Hmm..
Go speed 2

Whats the point of this...
To entertain people. I thought it might be interesting seeing level crossings in slow-motion since not many others produce videos like this. If you don't like it, that's fine.
UK Level Crossings I'm just curious to why this was made. Fair point.
UK Level Crossings I like it! They are really good pop songs!
