The 8-episode limited series explores the tumultuous ups and downs of Tyson’s boxing career and personal life - from being a beloved global athlete to a pariah and back again. Focusing the lens on Mike Tyson, the series examines class in America, race in America, fame and the power of media, misogyny, the wealth divide, the promise of the American Dream and ultimately our own role in shaping Mike’s story.

man people gone hate cause Mike not involved but trevante is an amazing actor
Huge respect and love for Iron Mike Tyson, but honestly no one will ever like the way a biopic is done about them. It’s Hollywood! Besides Mike’s displeasure: I believe Trevante’s portrayal of Mike was on point. Shoutout to Trevante Rhoades
Not once did they speak about Mike Tyson the person. Having his blessing. Sitting down and talking with Mike. Really trying to understand who he was as a person. They are treating it like he is some made up mythical creature. He is a real person that's still alive. That you are acting like. This is sad.
I know like Tyson is upset,but I started watching the series last night and I loved it I am hooked. Hopefully Tyson would like it and approve it later

Why would he want to watch his life story being told by someone who didn't come to him and ask him for his blessing. Why would he watch someone tell the most intimate,hard and rough points of his life that didmt care enough about him as a human being? How would you feel? I refuse to watch it. It's bigger than just oh I hope he gets over it. It's people prospering off of him, his story, and his abilities which is one of the biggest problems he has had his whole. The idea of people using him. People taking advantage of him. Not knowing who you can trust. This is not ok.

I respect that aspect but I don’t think Mike was a pretty boy ever .granted the guy is a good actor . I actually think he’s getting exploited because he’ll probably look at this later in life and not be proud of this project.
