My heart sinks watching Chadwick in this video. But looking at him, now (knowing what we do), he really sort of looked sick. I so wish he could have stay around a bit longer. Rest in peach Your Majesty.

Chadwick was amazing as black panther. The whole political thing around it, I personally didn't care for. Such a loss, too young, he left a legacy for sure.

I don't understand... If black dudes, as the chubby one at the beginning expresses - want a black dude movie, why is it they expect white dudes to produce it? Why not do it themselves?
Might as well ask why ask why American studios produced Downtown Abbey or Death on the Nile - two particularly British-themed films; because they thought they could make money off of it. And Wakanda Forever has already grossed more than those two movies combined. So some white dudes at the studios must have decided that they liked how Wakanda Forever would look on their bottom line.
@@ysbel Nah, yeah, nah - 'cause that's not my point. But of course some white dudes made it to make money - why didn't some black dudes - in Africa? Oddly enough you don't hear NAACP shout "blaxploitation" this time.
@@Peter_Riis_DK mainly because there’s only one black-owned studio big enough to make movies like this, Tyler Perry, and he doesn’t make superhero movies. Honestly it sounds racist to expect black-owned studios to produce movies like this just because they’re black. Even with the white producers’ money, both Black Panther movies were written and directed by blacks which was a big win because blaxploitation movies were often written and directed by whites. It’s simply a matter of blacks wanting to tell their own story and these white producers’ money allowed them to do that.
@@Peter_Riis_DK saying that most of the stories about blacks were written by whites is not playing the victim card; it is merely stating facts. Your discomfort with the facts doesn’t make them any less the truth.
