Match1n is definitely a master at not becoming easily offended. There have been offensive people in Match1n's chat before offending him. Match1n just ignored them and told us not to give them the attention they crave.

Dude, this speaks volume to me. I got a bit of a long story but hear me out😅.
Back in 2020 I was going through a lot of mental problems and was without a doubt at my lowest. Just a year prior I had lost contact with most of my close friends after getting closer to God and taking my faith more seriously (born and raised in a Christian family but it wasn't until I was 18 I wanted to truly live for Christ.) Then I met someone in a game of Left 4 Dead 2 and we got pretty close quick. Sadly over time he would start to show his true colours and he turned out to be a complete narcasist and victimised himself whenever I called him out for something. He even managed to take some of my money when he wanted us to gamble together were we both chip in, he plays and we split the winnings 50 - 50. Long story short, I changed my mind literally the day after I sent him my share (duh) and he got mad and started blaming me for not listening after he explained the plan (big red flag). So I went with it anyway, he didn't win much at all and I didn't know what to do at the time so I asked my parents for help to cut him off and get my money back. I said to him that my parents found out (they didn't, but I told them lol) and they were blocking my bank account until I get my money back. This is where his true colours showed. It was an extremely stressful and anxious event that left a big emotional scar in my heart. In the end he only gave me back some of the money and I removed and blocked him.
Ever since then I've developed trust issues and I struggle to meet and befriend people online (this is on top of the existing issues I had mentally and spiritually) and everytime I think about him and what he did I get so upset I can't think straight and I get these awful, demonic ideas of harming him and inflicting the same (physical) trauma to him like he did me. ( He lives in Sweden and I live in Norway, so we're pretty close geographically.)
All this crap has caused me to be extremely bitter and resentful to others but also extremely insecure about myself as I feel like a big sqck of misery and hate.
I know for a fact that I am this way due to past hurts and it wasn't until recently that I've started picking on old wounds from way back to my childhood even. It's hard living like this and I gotta let go, but I don't how. Do you have any advice for a fellow brother in Christ?
Thanks again for this video 🙏

Yeah so great question, I read the entire thing. So I struggled with a similar situation as I mentioned, as far as someone hurting me goes. I held onto it for 2 1/2 years and it hindered my walk with God. It was a relationship I was in with another girl, but when I finally got free, was when I accepted responsibility on my part and forgave her. Meaning, even though she did some things that were wrong, I analyzed myself and realized I did many too. Jesus said to the Pharisees to take the plank out of your own eye, before removing the speck out of your brothers. Not saying you did anything wrong, I’m just saying realize that we ALL make mistakes in areas, even your past friend. In order for God to perfect love in us, we have to let go of the past and forgive those who do us wrong. So I forgave this girl completely and shut the door, to where there was zero bitterness towards her. I recommend the same for you. It’s tough I know, but there is freedom in forgiveness. When I read your comment, I thought to myself “this person is still holding onto this” halfway down until I read that you needed advice. A good passage to read is 1 Cor. 11:13. It talks about what true love really is and how it NEVER fails. As a believer, we have to care about every person, even the ones who do us wrong. We are supposed to be imitators of Christ, and the first thing that comes to my mind when it comes to Jesus, is love. ❤️

I'd like to ask your perspective on mental health in modern times, in a sense. We've become so separate from God, the energy that enlivens us, that we separate our own soul from ourselves. We become thoughts instead of spirit. It's like people on autopilot versus living intentionally. How do we come back to God when we've lived a completely different life so far? How can I effectively integrate into a spiritual life and self amidst an environment that constantly reflects my past back to me? Like how do I tip that scale from monkey mind to soul fueled? It's a bit complicated because I'm still living with family and I feel like if I could have my own space I wouldn't even have this issue. I do have a hard time forgiving my father, it's gotten easier, but even if I fully could, this environment would remain the same. How do I embody my inner self and fulfill desires for growth to become who I am outwardly? How can I amplify this inner innate desire to outgrow myself and become who I'm supposed to be when I still feel trapped in an outer sense? It's been so hard for me to bridge the gap here and truly gain momentum for myself. I don't know if I'm just distracting myself or if I'm really missing something. I'm sorry I have a bunch of questions lol they all kind of tie in together. If you need clarity please let me know, and thank you for always being of service and sharing your heart. These videos have been so helpful for me and I deeply appreciate your sincerity.

Hey thanks for the questions! So the first thing God put on my heart while reading this is to realize who you are in Christ Jesus. When you become born again (assuming you are), Jesus now changes your identity completely and wipes your past clean. Romans 12:2 says to not be confirmed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of your MIND. Mental health, hits the soul & especially the mind. So how do we renew it? Joshua 1:8 says to meditate on the Word day & night, and Mark 4:19 Jesus even said that the cares of this world, deceitfulness of riches, and desires for other things CHOKE the word, and it becomes unfruitful. So in order to be free from the past, walk in forgiveness fully, and free your mind is to accept what Jesus has already done for you, and THEN pursue Him. It’s not enough to just accept Him and then we live however we want (not judging or condemning you by any means). I am not saying your salvation is in question, if you believe Jesus is your Lord in your heart then you will be in Heaven for eternity, however, your relationship with God on earth can be affected if you allow worldly issues to come in. The devil is real and wants to hit you on all sides, James 4:7 says to submit to God & resist the devil and he WILL flee from you. So first step is to submit to God, this means to fully trust in Him and pursue Him.
My life completely changed when I gave up every bit of me to pursue Him. Free from depression, anxiety, pain, mental health disorders, etc. I had severe ADHD & OCD (I never went to the doctor about it because I didn’t want to be labeled, but I could assure you I did), & had a crazy pollen allergy for most of my life. All of that is gone now, believe it or not. I’m happier than ever, and I enjoy reading my Bible and studying it. It’s a game changer ❤️

@@MATCH1N First, thank you so much for your thoughtful reply. I'm actually currently wearing a shirt I got, before I was even at this stage of my spirituality, and it has the first verse you mentioned on it, Romans 12:2. For some reason, I just resonated with it enough to wear it even though I wasn't "religious" at the time. I love the truth of being able to change your entire world by changing your perspective, your mode of operation, the lens you see through. It's very powerful. Accepting what Jesus has done for us is something I can fathom now that I've begun shifting my thoughts as a whole. In an outer sense, my relationship with trust has been less than ideal. God being the One to surrender and submit to reminds me it's possible to have loving trust. Everything else is a distraction, deception. Thank you again. And thank you for sharing your own story. I've had a similar experience with anxiety/depression and not wanting to put a label on things for many reasons. And that's amazing that your allergies went away, I believe that 100%. Miracles aren't as sparse as some would like to think. I've got to do some studying for sure. May life stay well and happy for you friend

No worries dude, I don’t hate you for your belief. There is actually many clues of Jesus existing, no different than believing Aristotle, Julius Caesar, or Homer existed. They all exist based on eye witness testimonies and “documentation” from that time. Even people who saw Jesus do miracles in person denied that He was the son of God. Point I’m making is, Jesus could walk around in person again today, and people would still hate Him. He’s real, and He loves you! ❤️
