You don't understand is you can always sell the watch. The fakes you just throw them.
I very well know a genuine watch will always have more monetary value, but there are people who simply want a fake.
I'm not one to buy fakes but who cares? The fake didn't cost much anyway. If you buy watches to enjoy them this isn't an issue.
