It all looks great Jill, the outside certainly suits the interior of the box as you said. When I think of Tudor houses I imagine they would be dark and smokey. Finding ‘stuff’ for miniature making is a contagious pursuit🤣🤣
That material you used for the ruff is great - no hemming! I love that your husband “collects” “possibles” for you too - mine does the same- double dangerous in terms of storage! I just adore that fireplace! Looking forward to seeing Ralph cone into being. Glad you had a lovely lunch with your mum and also lovely weather. It’s very hot here - even in the woods! So concerning as we typically don’t get this level of heat until mid-August! But, what can one do but try and stay as cool as possible?! May it cool down soon! TFS, ❤
I'm not sure what that fabric is called Kathleen. I should make an effort to find out, as it is very handy in lots of miniature projects - not just clothing. Cheers, Jill
Oh yes that's very sweet him saving bits for you, my husband does the same and it's very handy. I love everything you've shown, and sounds like you are going to have a very busy time ahead with sewing. Walter's friend is shaping up nicely, You have done a brilliant job! Thanks for sharing.
Hello Jill, the room box looks fabulous, Walter looks very comfortable in there, love the little dog you've added, I'm looking forward to seeing Ralph added to the scene too. You're going to be busy if they all need party outfits, Amelia is what my husband would describe as wanty, he says I'm not needy I'm wanty 😂 Have a lovely week. Best Wishes from Yorkshire, England 🇬🇧 😊
I must say Jill that your dolls in Beacon Hill House are very demanding lol, wanting new clothes, as if you’re not busy enough lol, can’t wait to see what Ralph looks like, it’s good to have a husband that saves bits and pieces for your projects, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧

Certainly is. I had a guy at the local hardware store who thought of me and put stuff aside. He's moved on now, alas.
You always make me laugh! I’m glad you had a nice lunch with your mom! And I must agree that Ralph does have very shapely legs 😉
Definitely!!
Looking awesome Jill🎉

They are a fussy lot :)
Waiting for Amelia's new dress, and of course Ralph's head will be interesting, especially to Ralph!
It will keep his ruff on!

Roger even brings home stuff after he has been out walking the dog - not always treasures, but I don't want to demotivate him :)
