Hi. I'm only 4 mins in and I see you are struggling to put the hose on I recommend lining the hose or the metal bit with some applicator or washing up liquid to slide the pipe on
unsure if you still use this channel atall, I know you dont post, but when changing over from using this as a wet vac to suck up dry material did you find the hose/filter/inside got clogged up with dust? was you having to use two separate hoses?
A ceramic coat would ultimately be the best thing to apply. If that's a step too far (and it is for a lot of people so no issue) then something like a high temperature wheel wax would be best. I'm not specifying a specific product because there are a few but... for a starter look at EZ car care RIMS.
you should of put the flexi suction hose straight onto the new fishtail rather that make a coupling. it might make it easer to work with to with it being smaller.... maybe another vid ??
Ah but that is really tight, and this way its disconnectable quickly. Admittedly it was a right job to get it right but now it's done, it really is easy to setup and use. 👍
Looks good u was looking at getting a vax wet vac but I like my titan Hoover. So am tempted to do wot u did at not an expensive cost either. Did u make it so u can take the wet vac off and just use it as normal Hoover as well. Thanks
@@DetailingandtheBeast ok Brill will have a look at doing it. Would you day doing this is just as good as buying a numatci george unit without spending 220 quid on one
@@simonattwood4363 its gotta be worth a try for under 25quid! See it you like it and it works for you. I'm very happy with it and I'll certainly be keeping it. In fact I've already added the extended 11mm hose to a 3meter one. It's just as good a wet applicator as the George as it uses the exact same head! So cant see why you wouldn't!
@@DetailingandtheBeast ok then Brill will give it a go saves me spending loads. As just started mobile valeting so want to keep cost down. @@simonattwood4363 no problem. Only honesty on here mate. I like to share the good finds. Especially where it saves the average bloke a few quid. We're all in it for the pleasure of cleaning the cars but potentially dont all have hundreds/thousands of quid to get the best kit out there.
Just had a look. Doesnt seem like they've now got them. Maybe they will come available again soon now that they have done a new range of the vacs too..
I found out the screw fix hoover is brilliant i use it personally Then found out its only 1.5hp Imagine them ridgid 6.0hp ,phew Have you ever vaccumed with a ridgid 6.0 hp vaccume bro ? I extremely want one lol
@@DetailingandtheBeast yeah instead of cutting the hose I took off the trigger and put a longer hose on and instead of using zip ties I used hose clamps

Detailing and the Beast I almost spent £250 on a George as Titans have been sold out for ages. Found one on marketplace in Stafford ex demo new. Just bought fishtail and a rubber crevice tool. Very impressed so far.
Done. Link in the description. Just be aware that although I've just measured the off cut I haven't actually lengthened the tube yet on mine. So its correct only to the best of my knowledge and 6mm ID is what I'm ordering.
If you dip the plastic hose end in a cup of hot water, it becomes more maleable & easier to fit
Another quality production. Great ideas that are simple and cheap to do but effective.
Good effort to adapt the vacume. But May as well go out and buy the George that does it all. 🌼
I found that the hose and the trigger washing attachment were the same size, I small length of 32mm pipe from my plumbing spares was a tight fit
I'd recommend spraying on the backwards pass as it brings the solution with it
Great mate . i have good 3 to 4 meters 8mm tube new heavy dute one from wfp system if you need some

Bit of initiative goes a long way....!! 👍🏼
Hey Dave! I e just had new tyres and had my wheels powder coated! What is the best way to clean and maintain that awesome glossy finish?

If you put the end couple of inches of pipe into a mug of very hot water for a bit you’ll find it slips on easy.
Great tip

why not use hot water to heat the spray hose attachment to the connector
Any idea where to get the hepa filter for the 40 pound model clicked the link and it says unavailable

How good is this titan just using the wet vac nozzle extracting presoaked fabrics? Does it leave much water behind?
Take a look at the "dirtiest seat" vid on my channel. Should answer any questions you have about its ability as a wet vac. 😉👌

8 litres in this one.

Hi mate just bought one of these today ex demo for £30 does that sound about right
Yeah sounds about right. Great vac for the car.

Perfect for what we use them for. 👌
Detailing and the Beast yes mate especially for some of the cars I do. Best £30 I’ve spent well apart from the yum n gt stuff
Do u use the blower function to blow water out of the cracks and crevices when drying the car
By the way that’s an immense idea
Cheers. I use mine around the house too. Perfect for stairs, and the rug in the lounge.
I find Screwfix's "No Nonsense Carpet Cleaning Detergent 5L 100/1" is quite decent. For £12 anyway.
You arent the first person to mention the Screwfix NoNonsense range to me! I might have to give some a try!
@@DetailingandtheBeast I cleaned my mattress with it and it looks brand new!
You are just amazing :) please send us the link for the long flexi pipe! thanks pal.
update: just found never mind and thanks again mate :)
Is the pressure sprayer hose defiantly 9mm? hHave you found a suitable 2-3m extension hose? Please post an eBay link when you can. Great work!
