This is a very important documentary.
I thought of an idea for an Animated series called Punk-toons, you could have Poly Styrene as a British Punk Rock nanny, who teaches Punk Rock kids moral lessons, like 1980's kids cartoons, obviously with subtly, taking on controversial political topics, Aunt Polly would explain all the grey areas of an issue. You can have Billy Joe Armstrong as a kid and that would be her nephew, a 1980's Fat Mike, Blondie, Johnny Rotten as Uncle Johnny teaching kids street smarts and common sense and Jello Biafra as the evil villian, like something out of Care Bears, who tortures people with his voice. You have to have a cartoon version of Tim Armstrong with a blue Mohawk, a teenage Spike Lee and other assorted characters. Taking on controversial topics from a Center-Left perspective, and making it annoyingly cute. 1980's kids cartoons meets 1990's sitcoms. Also, an army of fierce feminist warriors from the Pacific Northwest, who all look like Kathleen Hanna and Dakota Johnson. And the 1980's/90's Saxophone sitcom music, which would be Green Day's Bang Bang in between scenes sounding like Night Court, and the end credits a cartoony saxophone jazz version of Burn Out. Someone needs to make this. TV Funhouse style animation would fit.
Funny, I always had the same idea, but it definitely would be a TV Funhouse style parody. No way would it be good played straight.
