Please guys pray for me to get pregnant I been trying for one year but it’s not working I want to be a mom 😢🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 let help me to pray I need your prayers and blessings please 😊
Not washing meat is nasty. Let me tell you, all Caribbean people wash their meat. Weput some salt, lime juice or lemon juice or vinegar on the meat, rest a while and then wash off. Season with herbs and spices. That is why our food has taste and is not bland.
As a black person we always wash our meat in Lemon, lime or white vinegar. As for your husband’s argument we did not grow up eating hamburgers and hot dog
I am over 50 years old, grew up eating ground beef in African in the 70s to 90s! So some black people grew up eating ground beef (not hamburgers or hot dog,but ground beef, browned, then added onions, tomatoes and eaten with vegetables and corn meal dish similar to what she cooked in this video (fufu, sima, eba, ugali -made with different grains in different african countries and different names as well).. so his point is still valid - Just wash your meat if you want to, but don't make it a big deal about being unhygienic for those that don't wash their meat if you eat unwashed hamburger meat.
Im from the Caribbean we wash wash meat in vinegar, lime or lemon. We run hot dogs and suasages under cold water. After doing it we use bleach and hot water to wash out the sink and wipe surfaces. I agrèe the ground beef is another story. To each its own though a lot of these things are cultural.
Hi Neo and Jared, I'm from the Caribbean Trinidad and Tobago to be precise. High quality or not ,our culture is we wash and clean our meats with lime, vinegar and or flour in the water before cooking it. And yes some of us wash out the blood from our Minced beef, chicken ect , you can use a very fine strainer to squeeze out water from meat. Caribbean people are very concerned about the bloody smell from meats ,we love to use a lot of freshly picked and grind green herb like seasonings, with garlic ginger ect,to season meat and allow it to marinate 🎉❤
I’m a Black woman from Trinidad and living in Canada for 47yrs. and we always wash all of our meat and fish. I came to North America and continue to do the same thing because it is my Culture. Even Hamburger meat we rinse it off. I see in North America many people don’t wash their meat and fish. That is so disgusting. People have to be aware that in Meat Factories, Meat Plants, Grocery Stores and Slaughterhouses do not clean and wash your meat. I’m sure many Restaurants don’t wash their meat either but what Eyes don’t see, your heart won’t grieve. I cannot comprehend how people can go out and buy meat and fish and go home and just put it in a pot and cook it or bake it without washing it. Also, some people hardly ever wash their hands and the counter where they cook or prepare stuff. I could only imagine what goes on in Restaurant Kitchens around the World.
I wash the meat before I cook…of course you can’t wash hamburger meat or any previously ground meat. Most people from the Caribbean and Africa use lime or lemons or salt to clean ( wash) the meat. My mother always washed the meat before cooking. I think it’s more cultural here in the States.
You wrote ..."of course you can’t wash hamburger meat ". He said that to make a point, and that is -Just wash your meat if you want to, but don't make it a big deal about being unhygienic for those that don't wash their meat if you eat unwashed hamburger meat.
African Americans have always washed their meat. Whether or not it's a cultural practice or has a valid reason has been lost to time. I cannot imagine not washing my meat. My ancestors would rise up and slap me back into order.
I guess he was saying they wash their chicken at a quality plant rather than a low standard one. At tyson chicken plant they do wash the meat before packaging
We rinse our meat off before cooking it, especially chicken, pork, beef, etc. And, yes we rinse our hot dogs and link sausage off as well. Any meat that might have slime on it. Also, we (I) wash down all surfaces (sink, countertop, facet handles, knives or anything touched) with vinegar, dishwashing detergent and water with clean paper towels or a dishcloth, then rinse well with hot water. After use, I trash the paper towels or if I used dishcloth, I will rinse it out well with hot water then place in a small laundry basket with kitchen towels only, all kitchen towels washed together with no other items.
In the Caribbean the proteins are washed with sour oranges or lemons or limes or vinegar. It disinfect it and take away the raw smell. It is unheard of for us to cook it without washing it.
Yes, we wash everything but ground meats. We only eat Bright Leaf hotdogs and we wash them. I’ve been eating washed meat for 30+ years and I’ve never gotten sick from washed meat (at home) that I can recollect.
Here in America and Southerners were taught to wash and clean our meats with vinegar, salt and lime juice, remove a fat from chicken and turkey. We do not wash ground meat. Clean with bleach and soap all utilities that meat came in contact with. Clean sink, bowls etc. Peace and Love From NYC 🙏🏼💜✝️
I am from the Caribbean, and we wash our meat with lime, lemon, and vinegar. I only purchase hormone free and organics, and I still wash it. I do the same thing with fruits and vegetables. I am not a fan of ground beef, and if I have a craving for hamburgers, I can grind my own beef.
In the Caribbean we wash our meats with either vinegar, limes or lemons and salt. We also prep our meats in herbs and spices prior to cooking it. Sometimes we marinate it overnight. We also makes corn meal cou cou with chipped okras and the slime from the okras when it was cooked. (We cook the okras prior to adding the chipped okra and slime to the corn meal) This makes it very mellow and tasty. We also do it just like you by adding the corned meal to salted boiling water. It is served with stew chicken, beef, lamb or even steam fish. It is quite a tasty dish🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧
It's best to be present on the scene when building a house. It's also good to know about building building and/or get someone who's got idea about building construction.
We just rinse our poultry chicken and turkey(no not the deli meat😂) just the actually parts or birds. All other meats are just cooked straight from the package.
Yes we wash the meat , pork and chicken with vinegar, any type of meat. Whatever you do would work, because the cooking will kill any bacteria, I would think. Thanks for sharing! Love you guys!
Interestingly i have realised american scholars find it a challenge to penetrate international markets. Their education is centred arnd American system, a motswana graduate can thrive anywhere.
Yes I do. It’s a tradition inherited from my parents . They washed meat several times in bowls of water. Changing the water each time before seasoning and cookin it throughly . You just never know who handled the meat before you bought it .be
I remember when I was going to school there was no public library or tablet your right. Children are fortunate to day, let children make good use of today's resources.

If Builder knew what he was doing he would seen the mistake of the architect. You needed to be there every day to watch these Builders to make sure they did a good job.
Exactly,u have to put someone else to oversee what the builder is doing, especially when u living overseas they take advantage, like it’s never finished.
We rinse the turkey, the large ham, I wash wieners & link sausages in the casing. I rinse all red meats because they sit in blood. As for building the house--yes, you must hire someone to oversee the builders, We have built a home from the ground up, first purchasing the 5 acres, leveling out the acreage, leaving room for trees later & other landscaping. We even bought a 1-bedroom trailer for the overseer to live in during the week & for us to stay on the weekends to look at the construction & write down questions. You will end up paying wayyyyy more if building it in another state, let alone another country. Be careful.
Hi Neo & Garrett. I hope you guys are doing great. It looks like you are find me observing the video. I wash individual meet pieces are like chicken parts and fish fillets. I also wash my shrimp and beef. 😊
In Barbados the cornmeal is added to hot okra water & we called it Cou-cou. It looks just like yours and it's roll to look aesthetically like yours too
In the Caribbean we take great care in our meal or meat preparation. So much goes on with some of these things before it gets to your home. I grew up where we would grind our beef. Poultry definitely needs using the vinegar, lemon/limes to get rid of the raw scent. Yes I did culinary training and know that we have to be mindful of meat preparation. In the kitchen at home we have no way to see the minute things but a prayer.
God bless you all. I wash or rinse all meats. Ground beef& turkey, I rinse it. Meats" I use lemon, or vinegar or baking soda all depends on meat.. I am from South carolina. Lords knows, all in respect, I wish I was able to cook you and your family a clean meal. Lol Please, like your husband said, use cold milk for cereal . Lol. Exception for cream of wheat/ oat meat. Great way how you limit your children from tablets. Through it all, I love your dancing. Peace and blessings to you and your family. And blessings to the supporters on this link. It's a blessing to see a loving family❤️ Keep Father God 1st and everything with be Allright...

We cook that cornmeal in the Virgin Islands with salt & butter. We also sometimes add okra to it & it is called okra fungi or just fungi. We usually serve it with fish or in a dish call kallaloo ! 🌺
Good day team. We wash meat in Batswana. But others don't wash it at all since people have different ways of cooking their food. I do wash meat and i mean all kinds of meat.
My blood pressure is text book and I am keeping it that way. I do not cook with salt. I use Adobo and black pepper, Ginger at times, bell peppers, garlic at times.
Education is the "parents involvement in the childs education".. please repeat that!!! You made my day. Its not about the location or the school, its the parents involvement in the child's education. I dont do summer break too Neo
Washing meat is a must chicken turkey pork and especially seafood lots of lemon/vinegar for me if I don’t taste limes /lemon on seafood I don’t want it.Beef I rinse off.
I wash my chicken in lime juice/water, and let it sit in it until the water becomes clear. You’ll see the fat lifting up off the meat into the lime juice water mixture. Then, I cut the extra fat that off the chicken. I don’t eat beef or pork…..

START TAKING GERITOL TRY IT.
Wash the meat, and then wash all surfaces it was on, near or could splash on, then wash your hands!
Clean surfaces with hot, soapy water and paper towels. The germs can be trapped in the sponges and cloth
When you see how bloody and dirty some butcheries are you want to wash it in vinegar
Tout à fait d'accord avec toi 🙌🏿
I am from the Caribbean, and all my meats washed with lime, vinegar, salt, or lemon. It has to be washed 💯.
Yesss.....me too

Not washing meat is nasty. Let me tell you, all Caribbean people wash their meat. Weput some salt, lime juice or lemon juice or vinegar on the meat, rest a while and then wash off. Season with herbs and spices. That is why our food has taste and is not bland.
It's a matter of personal or cultural preferences. Your way is not the only way and other people's foods have flavor also.
Wash bloody meat

there is a difference between processed meats and meats fresh from a butcher's hands or factory butchery.
All you need is water, then season it as you wish

I'm from St Vincent and the Grenadines island in the Caribbean. We wash our meat with lime or lemons and vinegar. Not washing your meat is nasty
