I just wanted to say as a dark skinned woman with similar hair to your eldest daughter, the confidence that I have in myself really was cultivated by my mother who instilled a sense of pride in my hair and skin color. You are an awesome mom and I do not pass any judgment when I say that there are tons of tutorials and info on RUclips and the
internet in general to help you with her hair. She has beautiful texture and shrinkage is apart of that. Her appreciation for her hair starts with you. Texturizers and perms are potentially damaging, especially at such a young age to her beautiful hair. My hair is down my back (past the middle of my back) and has always been healthy and manageable. Give her natural hair a try 💕.

Hi!!! Crissy Marie, I live in New York, Queens. The malls are not open. Hair salons,barbershops,and nail salons are not open. Some stores,some restaurants,and some bars are open. I am glad you and the girls got the breakfast from the school. It really comes in handy. Your lunch/dinner looks so delicious. Praise God, your second daughter is feeling better and her MRI came back negative. Hallelujah!!! I love your eldest daughter's hair. The texturizer really lengthen her curls. Beautiful!! My kids and I having been getting the free lunches from the school for months. My kids enjoy the lunches and it’s been a huge help in our house with making lunch and breakfast easy!!! My husband and I have 5 kids!!!

I’m in Louisiana. We’ve been ALL the way open since we were supposed to be closed. They don’t follow directions here. I honestly wish everything was still closed. People are barely wearing masks. I know at one point they were giving out lunches but I haven’t heard anything else about it. I know they’ve started sending out FoodStamps for people with children in school.

Boston, we're in part 1 of phase 2, indoor restaurant seating, nail salons, waxing, etc still closed. Beauty salons, outdoor seating at restaurants, retail stores open for curbside pick up.

Why did you want to “loosen” her curl pattern?
Exactly! Her hair will never be the same. Clearly she's saying a message about her daughter's hair, whether she understands it or not. She had ( and I mean had) gorgeous hair, yes it's different maintenance but it is TOO many youtube videos in regards to manageable upkeep.
I love Crissy but that really upset me😩
It's her daughter and she can do as she please. For kids, a loosened curl pattern makes the hair more manageable and less painful especially for tender headed kids. It's no different than y'all naturals getting them blow outs to have bone straight hair. Y'all new aged natural hair folks fake af. Go have several seats and tend to your own. Her hair is still just as beautiful as before. Had she not mentioned it you probably wouldn't have even noticed.

Hey, I'm from Denmark and since the beginning of this month everything has slowly started to open again, such as the restaurant and stores, but with some restrictions such as the number of people being in one place and you have to keep some distance. From Ohio, some things are opened. Bigger places like zoo’s, etc opening this week! Can so related on the one cup that has the rotten milk, just did that yesterday 😅 also love when my daughter goes down for a nap. The only time I feel like I can speed clean without being needed lol.

I’m in Alabama, we’re pretty much completely opened for business on a modified phase 2. Me and my kiddos are very much well still quarantined. Our school district did the free lunches before we went on total lockdown, we definitely took advantage.

Here in nyc we r in phase 2. I swore I wouldn’t go out when we slowly started opening, but my ass is lol. I need to exchange sandals I got my daughter at old navy they are all too big or small because her size always sells out! Easier to do in store first thing in the am as opposed to shipping it out and waiting forever for my refund. Hoping they have the sandals in stock in her size since they were closed.
