This is giving Smooth Criminal, In The Closet, The Way You Make Me Feel MV's. Someone had to take up the mantle and he has done that in his own way. The sound is all too familiar as I lived through the 1970's disco era so this is JK's homage to those funk-soul bands of yesteryear, such as CHIC, Jackson 5, Diana Ross, Sly, EWF, Kool & the Gang, Ashford+Simpson, & many others of those days. SNTY does sound a lot like one song but I can't remember the title & the band, with the orchestra backing, funk bass line & the brass section. This is one of those songs that brings back the lighted discoteque dance floor & the spinning glitter ball. My idea is that someone should modify their ARMY bomb (I don't have one) into a spinning lighted glitter disco ball when JK one day sings this on stage with BTS or solo. You heard that idea here first folks !
I absolutely loved his major epic intensity in the performance shown in this music video. he completely sold it. You could tell he was sooo into it. He put his whole heart and soul into this. You could feel it through the screen here. He just blew me away with this one!
