Can we just talk about for a second just how ugly the visual fidelity is in Mafia 3? Everything looks so muddy, the lighting is awful and all the textures and NPC character models look like shit. Which is a crying shame because art direction for Mafia 3 is incredible. Mafia DE fixed most of the muddiness and lighting issues but it still has the low quality textures and NPC's. Let's hope the next game in the installment has great visuals as well as a great art direction.
the Graphics were the least of its problems
the DE looks amazing in some ways and horrible in other ways.
the next Mafia game will be on Unreal Engine 5 apparently, so maybe there's hope for the visuals department.
It never seize to amaze how some people praise DE graphics, when in reality it's inferior to Need For Speed 2016, GTA V, Metro Exodus, Red Dead Redemption 2 and many other older titles. Hell, even Mafia II is more pleasurable to look at
@@TheMskostyan The games you compared it to is incredibly unfair. Those games that you mentioned have a significantly higher budget than what Mafia DE had, after all Mafia DE was a passion project, not a AAA game that was meant garner a ton of revenue for Hangar 13.

@@Crizzly122 this platform is a joke. the time and effort I put to make a proper video for an ungrateful audience and unfair algorithm while others lazy content greatly outperforms it. I'm pretty close to just giving up on it.
I Swear, Mafia 2 is so ahead of its time its actually a crime this game is so underated, worst is, it could've been so much more if it wasn't for the cuts. Anyway, great video again pal, greetings from Brazil, keep it up.

@@calangoraivoso9921 A lot of games is better than GTA V, I would say Mafia 2 is neither underrated nor overrated (I mean, heck, it's fan favourite game of the whole franchise), it's GTA V that is very overrated.
