Agreed. He's a very sweet and handsome boy. And this child looks so happy grooming him. He was telling her "Thank you for making me look so pretty." And given how grey/white his coat is, its clear that she takes excellent care of him, for him to be so glowing white. Not a speck of dirt on him.

Thanks for sharing your memories with us. As a young girl, I dreamed of having my own horse, but we were poor & that dream was put on hold. However, God blessed me with my very own black beauty at the ripe old age of 52. It was truly worth the wait. Now we have 4 of our own & 2 of my niece's on our 10 acre farm. God has blessed us far more than we could have imagined. I will treasure them as long as my body will allow me to take proper care of them. Best wishes for your birthday.

He is one beautiful pony. He looks to be a Welsh Mountain pony. They tend to be very good for children, their temperaments are fantastic. My daughter had four Welshy ponies over time, we started from section A up to section D. I wish happy pony days for your daughter 😊😊😊

Yes! My daughter got to experience that with one pony.
And our elderly Arab gelding we had.
He absolutely loved kids, but especially her. He NEVER spooked with her on his back.
Only once did she ever fall off and only because he decided to lope as we were coming from pasture, and I had put her on his back as we came in. She wasn't ready and just tumbled right off. She wasn't hurt, just shocked. But he immediately stopped and came back to her and put his head down to inspect her. He never did that again with her and always waited for a cue from her after that.
He was so mindful of kids, he didn't like being led and would mock nip at whoever was leading him. As if to say, "I'm not stupid. You don't have to lead me." 😁
