    Sir what if overhanging span has UDL instead of point load
    Then how to calculate it sir ?

    • @VGK4TRUTH
      @VGK4TRUTH 6 месяцев назад

      M = (w x L^2)/2
      (Explanation)
      Total load:
      W = w(kN/m) x L (m)
      Lever arm:
      d= L/2 (resultant acts through midspan of the overhang owing to the symmetry of the UDL)

    why do you consider point (C) as fixed at 5:09 ? but when you calculate it's K value you considered it as pin/roller and used 3EI/L?

      when you calculate fixed end moments, we assume that every span is a seperate fixed beam. So span BC is assumed as fixed beam.
