The Meteor 350 also runs a new frame and suspension setup.... The brakes of Royal enfield Meteor 350 look modern with the addition of Abs and dual discs...
The Honda CB 350 features a retro design identical to motorcycle designs from the 1960s and 1970s and gets a circular headlight, a round single-pod instrument cluster, chrome fenders and a slightly upswept chrome exhaust. The Honda H’Ness CB 350 will be available in two variants - DLX and DLX Pro. The DLX Pro version will offer dual-tone paint schemes, slightly reminiscent of the Triumph Speed Twin, and Honda Smartphone Voice Control System. Lighting is LED up front, and the bike will come with dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS).

Powering the Meteor 350 range is a 346cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 20.4 bhp of power and 27Nm of torque. It is mated to a five-speed gearbox. Royal enfield Meteor 350 rides on a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels shod with tube type and tubeless tyres. re Meteor 350 Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and dual spring-loaded shock absorber at the rear. Meteor 350 Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends while the system is equipped with dual-channel ABS.
3,000 rpm. The 5-speed gearbox can be accessed via a slipper clutch with assist function which requires less load on the clutch lever, compared to a regular clutch. The slipper function reduces unpleasant shocks during aggressive downshifting and will prevent the wheel from locking up.
The engine is mounted on a steel half duplex cradle frame which is said to offer a soft steering feel, and in turn offer balanced riding and stability. According to Honda, the load allocated to the front is optimised by mounting the engine at a low position to lower the centre of gravity, improving the stability and handling of the bike.
Wheels are alloy-type, shod with tubeless tyres from MRF. The front 19-inch wheel is said to offer greater stability in different riding conditions, and the rear 18-inch wheel is shod with a 130 mm wide rear tyre for better overall road grip.Both wheels get brake discs, with a 310 mm single disc on the front wheel, and a 240 mm disc on the rear wheel. Dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) is standard.Honda CB350 sound is loud and very much like a Royal Enfield Classic 350. Honda Highness CB350 top speed is around 130kmph .The Honda Hness CB350 ex-showroom price in Chennai starts from Rs 1.85 Lakh. The Hness CB350 is available in 2 variants. The entry-level Honda Hness CB350 DLX variant is priced at Rs 1.85 Lakh (ex-showroom chennai) and the top-end Honda Hness CB350 DLX Pro variant costs Rs 1,90,000 (ex-showroom chennai)
Royal Enfield has introduced the all-new Meteor 350 cruiser motorcycle in India. The new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 replaces the Thunderbird 350 globally and is underpinned by a new twin cradle frame, powered by a newly-developed engine and packs new connected Tripper feature as well. The Meteor 350 traces its origins to the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 700 that was built during the 1950s until the early 1960s in the UK. The new Meteor 350 has been launched in three variants - Fireball, Stellar and Supernova - priced at Rs. 1.75 lakh, Rs. 1.81 lakh and Rs. 1.90 lakh respectively (all prices, ex-showroom Chennai). In terms of competition, the Meteor 350 will compete with the likes of the Honda H'Ness CB 350, the Jawa, Jawa Forty-Two and the Benelli Imperiale 400.

Brother. One request. When you start the review please start with the most important things - Mechanical aspects and important aspects. Engine aspects, Slipper clutch, Traction control, ABS etc. Highness comes with 4 valve engine while Meteor is 2 valve engine. Highway performance vs City commutability. Riding comfort on highway, city, twisties, braking, efficiency/mileage, rideability etc. Then we can talk about the less important features like bluetooth etc.

Tall gearing is what I like about this bike.with my very limited riding time in heavy traffic gear 1&2 will be used mostly so no problem there.in third gear you can do 60+ with pillion.gear 4&5 are basically useless in city traffic

I don't agree, you can stick with 1st gear till 40 km in H'ness 350. Gear control is better than Meteor 350.

You can't ride in 4th or 5th and expect it to perform a fast overtake... It will not...
How bro...h'ness la 5th la irunthu 4th gear shift pana thaan overtake pana mudiyum nu sonningaley..normal ah increase pana thaana overtake pana mudiyum?and what is traction control
Actually the 5th gear in highness is an overdrive gear which means it is just to relax the rpm....so if u need to increase the rpm in order to overtake u need to comeback to 4th or 3rd gear so that u can increase the rpm ....
