You really need to go to Chicago it's a totally different city. Very modern and clean downtown. Chicago architecture is much better than NYC. The only thing you can really give NYC credit for is that they have more tall buildings but it looks like a jumbled up mess because they continue to build over the old. NYC is just a jumbled up mess compared to Chicago.
Dear J.UtahChicago is my home town for the past 59 years. It is an incredible capture of the vibrant life of our city. Can you please tell us which dash cam you have used?. Million thanks . Nate
Right on! "The street, Chicago Board of Trade Building, and 200 North LaSalle were used in the 2005 film Batman Begins and its sequel The Dark Knight,[3][4] as well as in the 1999 movie Payback.[5] The view facing south down the canyon has been used in the movies The Untouchables, Public Enemies, Transformers: Dark of the Moonand Road to Perdition. The canyon was in the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off."

YOU PEOPLE ARE SO CRAZY CHICAGO IS A NICE BEAUTIFUL PLACE WITH SO MANY LOVING PEOPLE EVERYONE SO MICH KINDER THAN THE PEOPLE IN NYC! CHICAGO IS UNIQUE IN ITS OWN WAY!!!!!!!!
I remember this spot like it was yesterday. I had a job interview in the 400 block of lasalle street. But then I panicked when the road ended at 300, not realizing it picked up again BEHIND the board of trade building, and I would simply have to go around it. So after running around in a panic like an idiot, I ended up being about 15 minutes late to the interview. They hired me anyway.
Before I visit a city I familiarize myself with all the worst places to go. I did that for St Louis and LA making sure to stay on freeways in bad areas
1:48-1:52 Note the digital clock on the left side of the screen. It registers 7:09 and 76 degrees Fahrenheit. Guessing it was an early evening midweek during the summer; note the pedestrians toting bags and wearing business casual. Had this been during a weekend, it would've been almost deserted, with the few pedestrians more casually dressed. Many people overlook the fact that LaSalle Street in the Loop is a downright lonesome place to be on weekends.
The building at the end of the street is the Chicago Board of Trade. A commodity exchange established in 1848 that today trades in both agricultural and financial contracts. The CBOT originally traded only agricultural commodities such as wheat, corn, soybeans, eggs and sow bellies. Now, the CBOT offers options and futures contracts on a wide range of products including gold, silver, U.S. Treasury bonds and energy. The grains of the U.S. are traded here. This is where the price of breakfast is determined.
horrible roads , un believable that this is down town chicago , roads here in my city in pakistan are far better and upgraded recently . let hallirry clinton comes into white house chicago and NYC will be like detriot
Lol, I am from Pittsburgh (a city filled with Republicans) and our roads are twice as bad. It has nothing to do with administration and everything to do with conditions. I’m not sure if it ever gets below 32 degrees F in Pakistan or if the ground becomes saturated there, but those are the two conditions that create potholes. Chicago, NYC, Pittsburgh, Toronto...they all look like that after a season or two.
Uh, dude, "horrible roads" are hardly unique to Chicago. Here's a quote from Business Insider (7-14-15): "All together, 65% of roads in the United States are in 'less-than-good' condition [...]." "...roads here in my city in pakistan are far better..." Oh really? Does your "city in pakistan" have the exact same climate as ours? Are there just as many vehicles on your roads? Does Pakistan actually have trucks just as GIGANTIC as trucks in the U.S.? "...and upgraded recently." Oh really? Hmmm, could that have something to do with your local roads being "far better"? Were your local roads so impressive right before they were "upgraded"?
It doesn't snow and freeze in Pakistan... Potholes exist bcs of freeze and thaw conditions. Every spring Chicago repaves its roads and they break again again like clock work. It has nothing to do with economy, Chicago is one of the richest cities in the world. Its climate. Even Mexico City has better roads than Pakistan, why? Climate
Have you ever been to Philly, it has the 2nd largest downtown after Manhattan. And it's comparable to Chicago in land area and density so it's not that tiny. I will say overall Chicago is a cleaner city but it's also more violent than Philly

Chicago looks really similiar to New York in architecture!
No it doesn’t they are two separate cities with their own unique flavor. Chicago has different architecture.
@@UR_Right24 nobody city copied eachother. every city in america was constructing buildings with the same neogothic architecture around the same time.
there are parts of chicago that are new york like, but new york is one of a kind.
chicago is too but nothing compares to nyc.

i like how the street ends and doesnt go on forever, as is usually the case with cities that use a grid layout.
This is a great street - I can see why the filmmakers like it!
