Hi Paul. I found the plans on the link you sent, it's called "Playboy" - I love the space in the back. I may consider making a 16" version of this boat and will use . Can I ask how you connected up steering to the outboard motor? Thank you!
Over 2 years later and still the dips are still pointing out the inch versus foot typo... Wow.Absolutely beautiful boat man. what are your thoughts on an inboard version? I have an 80 HP motor that I would love to water cool and put into a boat just like this!!Please respond if you have any ideas or research into this!!
Hi Ron. I have been playing with the same idea as well. The thing is that this design was speccially made for outboard. All the forces created by the engine ( push and pull) are beiing deflected. So is it possible? yes I think so. You probable will need thikker skin wood and an integraded steeframe to mount the engine. And some reinforcement to be able to place a rudder. I think that it will cost a lot off space inside the boot. The benches as they are now can not stay. have fun.
cool boat ,good job , dont like the thing on the bow, i would rip that off from there and put a chrome tear drop split bow light ( running light ). The shark fin thingybob looks silly.
It seems to be the playboy boat by William D Jackson, I want to build it too, you can find those plans on boatplans-online.com in the section runabout o/b
As read in some other comments, I also recommend taking a look at Woody Hyezmar’s Woodworking Bible. Last time I saw he was still looking for proof readers!
Hello Sandra. Thanx I love this boat to. She is very easy to handle on the water. I got the plans here www.svenson.com/.Plans are free to download. I have made this boat a little bigger than the original plan.
”pepe amazing plan” (Google it), is an extremely detailed woodworking book! By making use of this plan, I was able to use words, drawings, real pictures and different diagrams. It`s really an informative product. I`m currently creating furniture along with my sibling and because of this product, I feel like assisting him is possible.
Nice work. But where's the: who, what, where, how part? And why was there 2 minutes of the same thing? No finished product pics? Good work but not so good video...sorry

How much would you charge to build Someone this boat ?

Ik zou voor de spanten ook watervast multiplex gekozen hebben,,, maar dat gezegd,,, prachtig, je mag trots zijn.
I love it , a real good job !!!
Waw, knap staaltje vakmanschap ! Gefeliciteerd !
Paul! Good Job!
I was wondering if you used pine wood for the framing? I thought we had use a harder wood than pine for frame up. It's a beautiful boat
can you give the overall dimensions for something like this
cool boat ,good job , dont like the thing on the bow, i would rip that off from there and put a chrome tear drop split bow light ( running light ). The shark fin thingybob looks silly.
Agreed, and I wondered what that rhino horn on the bow was all about. Definitely takes up valuable space better dedicated to nav lights.
Hey paul, where did you find the plans for this?
Planning on building something alike.

I've been researching into building boats and discovered an awesome resource at Denelle boat builder (google it if you're interested)
