Torrance is a coastal U.S. city in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County, California, in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
It is immediately bordered by Lomita to the east, Gardena and Lawndale to the north, Redondo Beach and the Pacific Ocean to the west, and Rolling Hills and Palos Verdes Estates to the south.
Economy
Torrance is home to the U.S. headquarters of Japanese automaker American Honda Motor Company.
Robinson Helicopters are designed and built in Torrance as are Honeywell's Garrett turbochargers, used on automobile engines worldwide.
Alcoa Fastening Systems (now known as Arconic) is headquartered in Torrance, producing aerospace fasteners.
Pacific Sales, Pelican Products, Virco, and Rapiscan Systems are among the other companies based in Torrance.
The Del Amo Fashion Center, at 2.5 million square feet, is one of the five largest malls in the United States by gross leasable area.
With Nordstrom as the mall anchor and supplemented by luxury retailers such as Kate Spade, Hugo Boss, Uniqlo, Michael Kors, and Ben Bridge.
As a major oil-producing region, Torrance was once dotted with thousands of oil wells and oil derricks.
Though the oil wells are not as common as they once were, the Torrance Refinery Oil refinery owned by PBF Energy in the north end of the city is responsible for much of Southern California's gasoline supply.
The Armed Forces Day Parade in Torrance, which was first produced in 1960, is the longest running military parade sponsored by a city.
It is held annually on Armed Forces Day, and runs down Torrance Boulevard.
The parade features military vehicles, school bands, and prominent community members

I used to live in Torrance,California but unfortunately I was born and raised and lived there until 2006 and I will miss my old hometown of Torrance, California and I went to different schools in California between the 1980's to the 1990's and I loved the beaches and amusement parks and shopping malls and I think it's just a honor be a former Torrance resident and I used to work out there too

2nd highest in the USA behind Honolulu. I live in Torrance and it’s the best city in LA county as far as I’m concerned. It’s upscale without being obnoxiously booshy like other affluent areas in LA. The schools are some of the best in LA county as well. 15-20 miles from downtown, 10 miles to LAX, and on the water; it’s perfect.

Oh no you did not turn right at 57:37. I was an exchange student back in 2016 and lived at the end of that street. In Torrance you have a great view both over the Pacific and La La Land

I used to live in Torrance 2001-2002 , 2014-2016
To get to RAT beach, you have to drive into PV, then walk down a steep, windy path.
I used to date a girl who lived here. I would travel across the country to see her...I still remember how safe and peaceful Torrance felt. It was such a nice feeling. It's a shame it cost so much to live there, but yeah I think this is one of those smallish towns that is completely sanitary and safe.

100 year olds and lot of japanese, ok got it.
Could the camera be aimed at the sides instead of the street. Some editing would be helpful. We spent a lot of tie waiting at traffic stops and moving through traffic without anything interesting to view. Also, try to project your voice. it was pretty hushed.
