I used to have the blue one. You know how you have to touch its hand to make it say boobah? Well one night when I was sleeping it was in my closet and the batteries were dieing and I didn't even touch it and it randomly went boobah in a deep slow voice and woke me up and scared the crap out of me. I ran to my parents room but it was locked. I kept screaming and pounding on the door. Later on that night I slept in my sister's room. The next day I sent it to my cousin and never wanted to see it again.
I had a purple one, and I loved it until it started to sing all by itself in the middle of the night (I'm not kidding) my parents figured it was a problem with the batteries and took the batteries out. Apparently it wasn't that because it kept doing it ;-; I ended up smashing the fucker with a hammer and throwing it in the garbage out of fear....
i agree; love them all.. buying the whole set for my little grand daughter .. SHE LOVES THEM ... is 18mos old... Laughs so hard and carries them around with her..
One time at Wal-Mart right by the door they had shelves and shelves of these. I turned on like, 15 of them at once and this guy walking in saw them, stopped, and watched them, totally mystified XD I also found some Boobah stickers in my stationery box the other day! I'm so excited :)
"So here we have the Boohbah. Teaching kids that mutant babies do exist and they make weird noises and act possessed if you squeeze their hand" i dont know why but that made me laugh so hard
@@kentchambers4468 I mean, I get why some people might think it’s creepy, the alien like design that makes it seem uncanny, the weird music, but it IS just a silly show and line for kids and I don’t know why people vilify it so much
We nicknamed our son Booba almost 18 years ago. These things came out shortly after so we acquired a blue and pink. I believe my mom still has them. Flash forward almost 18 years. I'm taking my son to get a tattoo tomorrow. I told him to make it meaningful. He said he will get the ghost from Mario as his name is Boo. I suggested a Boohbah. Lmfao! Not gonna happen.
Yeah, I didn’t know there was a show until like two years ago. (I’m 18 now) I was so confused and didn’t understand why I never found out about the show.
i remember having one as a toy and using him as a wrestler with a huge bodyslam and another story as a nature documentary. the mighty call of the: BOOBAAAAAAH!
when i was really small i liked the show, but when i had one of these it showed up in a couple of my nightmares. but that's probably because even if the batteries were new the voice was always slowed.
Idk why, but it’s not creepy to me at all. It’s just weird and funny XD I mean, if you’ve seen the show it’s really just a dumb silly thing. I used to have that exact one as a kid too though
my sister used to have a purple one years ago, I remember the show too, weird at first but they're actually pretty cool as kids, just like the teletubbies:p
I was at my friends house and my friend found jingba (the pink one) in there. I screamed and ran and we decided to torture it to death. But it won't die! It's haunted.
OMG how can this be creepy. I absolutely love Boohbah. I still got mine. I sometimes still play with it. ( I'm fifteen, don't judge. I remember all the memories)
i freaking love boohbahs. i used to have the purple one :D i miss them. i used to scare the shit out my grandmother lmao i placed it next to her while she was asleep.
Mom, there's an orange monster under my bed. Have it come with a multitude of heads. Of course the evil action figures for boys for the last 30 years are creepy too.
I have a blue one.My grandma gave it to me and it scared me to death.I did not want to hurt her feelings so I tolled her i loved it and took it home. Now it is on top of my book shelf and it stares at me when I sleep .
I remember playing with my boohbah at three. I had the blue one. It was so funny when he farted and I loved watching him dance. When I took him out of the box after not seeing him for a while(i was nine at the time, I'm thirteen now), I squeezed his hand and he sounded drunk. He went "beee eee eee baaaaaah," in slow motion. My mom and my brother had a laugh over it xD. But sadly, I lost my jumba :(
When i was very little my aunt gave me two or four boohbah's. When she gave them to me i screamed so loud. Then when i was seven, my parents found the orange one. They said" remember this?" I screamed and ran to out of the basement. I complained to my father to throw it away. They scared me all the time when i was seven.
This toy traumatized me. I remember my older sisters terrorizing me with it chasing me through our house as I cried for help. I swear almost every one of my nightmares I've had have had this demonic rat in them. Even now I get creeped out just thinking about it. If I ever see a parent buy this toy for their child I'm calling child protection services.

19 years ago, my 2 year old daughter was terrified of this thing!!!
I had to stop because I just had mouth surgery and my laughter is causing too much pain!
I watched a episode of this and I am now scared of fur colour and turtles
XD Looks like a villain they never used for Teletubbies. XP LOL
since its truth telling time, I still have the large pink stuffed one that makes noise.
My friend has the blue one and the red one. He says he's going to get the other three, make them into a pentagram, and summon satan.
Idk why, but it’s not creepy to me at all. It’s just weird and funny XD I mean, if you’ve seen the show it’s really just a dumb silly thing. I used to have that exact one as a kid too though
If that's creepy for you, you must live in a Walt Disney fantasy world :)
my sister used to have a purple one years ago, I remember the show too, weird at first but they're actually pretty cool as kids, just like the teletubbies:p
When I was little I had a cd of the tv show and I would throw a fit if I wasn’t watching it. I eventually wore the disc out😂😂
I had the same exact color Boohbah! I was a huge fan of BoohBahs when I was 4-5 years old
I remember this from my childhood.....it scared the hell out of me.....
Acid flashbacks are what kids call "entertainment".
Ok, so its a fluffy animated toy that performs demonic Voodoo rituals.
I had them all when I was 3-4 years old. I sold them, but I do wish I can go back in time and keep them!
My dad was legit scared of these guys
This is the kind of stuff my friends send me at midnight
I was at my friends house and my friend found jingba (the pink one) in there. I screamed and ran and we decided to torture it to death. But it won't die! It's haunted.
then suddenly when you zoom in to the eye, it looks at your soul, blinks and kills your whole family.

The bumps on the head makes it look like an orange, baby, anime version of Pinhead from the movie "Hellraiser". lol

Have it come with a multitude of heads.
Of course the evil action figures for boys for the last 30 years are creepy too.
The neck rotation reminds me of the "dutty wine"
I love that when I was a kid but now it's creepy for this age
Thank you for reminding me of the Satan of my childhood.

that show and the teletubbies were my fave shows when i was little... although that is extremely creepy

And in the words of Boohbah. "BWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

I used to have a pink one.. I actaully loved that thing when I was younger.. But then I donated it later on because it was starting to get creepy
