This is a good “I devoted Myself to Him for Years, but He Married Another Woman”-story with good actors and a funny storyline. I loved this capable/decisive/loyal FL, who didn’t accept being a third wheel, and this flirtatious/playful/loving ML - and their sweet love story. Despite quite a few editing errors (scenes in wrong order or jumps), this is actually worth watching. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! FL is the adopted daughter and PR manager of the Pei family. She has been handling company affairs for the CEO brother (2ML) she thinks was the one who saved her from a fire when she was only a child - and the other brother’s (ML) supposed scandals in the night. After loving her supposed savior for years she one day finds out that he is getting married - and she is not the bride. She hears him say that FL isn’t a suitable wife for him, so he chose a business marriage with a woman that matches his status. His brother (ML), who is actually the one who saved her that night, saves her some embarrassment by blocking his brother’s view, hiding the fact that she heard what he said. Little does she know that ML has his own arrangements for her. The next day she decides to change her approach towards him. Later, when ML offers to take her away from 2ML and the humiliation his fiancé submits her to - at least for the day - she follows him. In the following days, 2ML realizes just what it means that FL has let go of her love for him, starting with her resignation in public on his engagement day. Well, this has a happy ending.
I rather see the Male actor jump in in the water like that than how some of the Male Actors try to dive in the water and end up doing a belly flop making them look ridiculous 😂
Overall, this drama is entertaining. Enjoy watching the female lead, Yu Xioawan acting skill. Haven't seen her acting in a drama for a while. Glad to see her acting again.😊😊😊 The male lead acting is okay. How I wish the kissing scenes between the female lead and the male lead becomes so romantic and impactful. Even the villains in the drama play their role well.
A few scenes are out of order, would ne nice if the editors did a better job. I like how the FL didn't hesitate but just walked away. But, I think the older brother actually made it much more easier by his scummy words and actions. 😅 He was way too full of himself, and looked down on FL and women in general. His fiance is just the same, two peas in a pod. He couldn't wrap his head around the fact that the others (like the FL and the younger brother) could actually live without the Pei family name and support. Kudos to the duo for proving him wrong. The fiance and her three simps are too annoying. 😂 I guess some people like this kind of drama.
I’m glad he smoothly got his true love. But I’m mad because I was hoping he would have revealed who that girl was in the painting. That would had been nice.

ML said that he had a crunch on the FL for twenty years so what’s up with the gaslighting? Take the honest route and introduce yourself and your company to her as an adult and not feed her false information🤔
