Yes Hindi and Urdu are very similar . In India we almost speak a mixture of languages . We speak many Hindi words and many Urdu words while communicating. Because both languages were originated in India.❤️

Urdu = Persian + Hindi. Persian is known as "Phaarsee" in Hindi. When the Mughals invaded the plateaus of rivers Sindhu (present day Pakistan) and river Ganges (Hindi: Ganga) they brought Persian with them. When they settled here the languages Persian and Hindi mixed together giving birth to Urdu. According to Urdu scholars Urdu has very few words of it's own. Most words are from Hindi and Persian. I love the fact that you are well versed with Persian knowing words like Zindagi and Qurbaan. Love from India. One of my earlier post about Alsiha Chinai got deleted for unknown reason.
Urdu is beautiful and a very sweet language compared to Hindi. Even an abuse in Urdu doesn't feel like an abuse. This song has pure Urdu in it, my friend.
