Hi Yanti! Recently I came across ur video. I watched ur batam video many times and even now. The food look so delicious!! I hv nv been to batam. May I ask is it safe to take grab in batam? I'm planning to go to the fried fish restaurant.
Hai hai.. ^_^ Thank you for watching my videos. I took grab to travel around batam and so far so good. Since I travel solo, I seldom take grab at night and I normally will print screen my grab info, etc and i will sent it to my families group chat if I feel unsafe or if the driver take different route from grab or google map. But Batam was ok for me. No problem and no drama. Most driver understand basic english. Just get your small notes ready if you are paying by cash as they may not have change. I normally will break my big note at minimart near ferry terminal or bus terminal, buying water or snacks. Have an awesome trip and holiday ^_^
