Anecdote related to the film-Olympics-tie: I just purchased onine, a new to me 50mm f1.8 newFd mount lense for my Canon AT-1. It came with a lens cap that had printed on it the Canon logo, the Olympic rings, and "official 35mm camera-1984 Olympic games"; I could not be more jazzed.
Daguerre was french, so "gu" is just an hard "G" sound, like in "garage" (and not like in "giraffe"). In french G is always hard unless in before an "e" or "i" where it should be soft. To make it hard, you put a (silent) "u". I am sorry for my language spelling to be weird like that (and I will add that English is no better in that regard) 🙂
great video as always! fun way to do a holloween special, also, I've never been this early to a vid lol

Nice find, I have one too! Those lens cap on there own goes for a pretty penny (for what a round plastic object should go) and are collectible
The suspense!!! is killing me.
