Instant Like on this video. Reading academic texts in my target language was the whole purpose of starting my Second Language journey.

If you change the name to something to do with language that will help a lot!

Thank you for the video. Reading does really help to learn the language. Something I noticed about reading is that only when I started reading aloud then I saw progress. But I did not make a list of words and use flashcards so maybe that would help to progress faster😅 anyway great video 🎉

Nice work, you make good points. I’m with you, I’m working on my German and I’m in the ‘it’s a bit too soon for Harry Potter’ camp. I’ve got it though, ready and waiting, and I am watching the films with German language and German subtitles. Because I know the plot I don’t have to worry what is happening, I just focus on the words I can understand, next I’ll try and get through with no subtitles. Much harder. Then I’ll hit the book again. More my current speed,….my German colleague has leant me a Donald Duck comic which I’m struggling through. At least it has pictures!🤦🏼‍♀️

I didn't know that there were websites that provide beginner texts in a target language. I'm currently at a beginner level in French, do you have a suggestion for a website to help with that?

      Absolutely bro! Here's two...
      1. onlinefrenchclub.com/
      2. www.fabulang.com/en/fr/a1
Would highly recommend you make a folder in Google or whatever and save them in that so you can easily find them. I understand "Beginner" can mean a variety of things - don't worry if they are a bit hard, just follow the advice in the video. Definitely consider jumping in our discord too bro.
