So here's a thought. Since Chichi's first experience with Saiyans in a more well adjusted Raditz, maybe she will be less hostile to to the idea of Gohan training. Raditz could explain about Saiyan biology and why combat is so important to them. Plus considering how Goku is, it makes for great father and son bonding. Maybe with all of this, Chichi would be less high strung. Perhaps making a deal with Goku that Gohan can train and help with situations, but Goku must do every the he can to keep Gohan safe.
Oh this early I was thinking like normal canon not 23rd Budokai. Oh wow that's a big jump in power level here, but then again the Time Chamber is a cheat code. Oh boy Vegeta and Nappa are coming here's hoping the Great Ape Form will be enough here. Anyways another really good part, and looking forward to the next part soon.

Raditz is no prince, but he's a strong ex-mercenary, and his understanding of science is surely greater than most humans since he's used to space travel and all the Freeza tech, so I guess he has a chance with Bulma, to replace Vegeta. Piccolo is already out of the picture, and Vegeta might die, so I hope the humans would be of use for a while atleast, few months of Kami training + 2 years in the room of spirit and time should buff them up enough to be stronger than Nappa atleast. Goku not having the spirit bomb or Kaiokin, and perhabs not isiting Yardrat will make things hard to write, so I hope you find a way to make it happen. if Gohan is born late, then hopefully he and Goten can be twins, and Raditz's son could be of similar age, around 10 in the Buu saga to make them useful.
That’s one of the beauties about Raditz. We don’t know much about him other than what we know, so this gives fans a great opportunity to make up his background and bits of his persona. I personally (and you can agree with me or not idc) see him as a tech guy. Not necessarily a genius like Bulma but someone who knows his way around technology, computers and whatnot. You may not think so by looking at him but that plays into his strengths as well as being a cautious strategic fighter.

Please try to keep vegeta alive because he is an important canon character who needs to be alive for future sagas, it would be unfair if he dies and vegeta is a right match for bulma and you can have Raditz with someone else for example Launch. It is my most favorite whatif I have waited for so long for part 2 but please give vegeta an another chance in this.
