Fast GPS fix. Keeps fix while changing out Lipos between flights (no need to reacquire satellites). Self-powered buzzer lasts up to 4 hours. 3.5 grams. 'Nuff said! Yes, please!
I've watched several reviews on this and you're the only one to mention the lost model buzzer feature of this thing. That seems like a pretty big feature to me. Thanks for doing your homework.
What a great product. I took the GPS off my 5" freestyle quad because I found myself not waiting for satellite lock most of the time. This solves that problem.
Yep, exactly. This basically does what I have been doing as a DIY gadget in a much more elegant/efficient form factor and with included self-powered buzzer without the necessity of spending additional time of building the external power supply yourself. Great little product IMO 👍
Thanks, very interesting , you say that can be used on RC models ? Any idea how to do ? wing type & TX16s, I have understood on the TX16s side but not for the RC model - Thanks to give me some directions
Thinking outside the box, if your GPS module gets power from plugging in flight controller USB, with no battery connected. Use speedybee Bluetooth USB device to power up FC via USB. Monitor sat stats using speedy FC configurator via Bluetooth on your phone, once locked in, plug in main battery. Then remove speedybee Bluetooth USB device. Power to GPS module has power from main battery, no power interruptions. May try myself in the field. Poor man's solution if you already have speedybee Bluetooth USB field device.
I don't understand why you would bother to complicate the process? You only have to wait 2-3 min the first time you go to a new site. After that the GPS locks very quickly. The sacrifice of using a conventional vifly that will beep for days, if you get lost, for a beeper that now will only beep 4 hours hardly seems worth it. What am I missing? You still have to turn it on and wait.
If your GPS module works for you in your location at a new site within 2-3 minutes then I would agree with you, no need for this. Most pilots aren't as fortunate as you are in that regard. If you're not able to find a lost quad with a GPS and a buzzer that beeps loudly for 4 hours . . .
I have had them stuck in trees and not visible so you have to come back in the dark when light blinks to find them. More than 4 hours before dark. You are fortunate to never having this happen to you.

This has been the best implementation to my iNav quad ever since I've started flying and tuning for poshold, all thanks to this vid 👍👍
One of the few channels that provides the information quick and easy to understand in a very orderd way! Appreciate that! Great work!
