Yep. I have experienced it myself with a couple hydrofluorocarbons too. Don't recommend it though. Not painful in the slightest but it felt like it could easily be harmful. I plan to continue avoiding ever breathing any substantial amount again in the future.

She saw the tension btwn my dad & I, & side eyed him suspecting he was the source of my mangled back and raspy voice. When my dad raised his hand to fix his glasses I purposely flinched and our whole family saw her come to the worse conclusion and gasp. When she walked away my mom just sighed knowing war had been declared, my brother thought it was hilarious, and my dad was seething and quietly said “not funny. How dare you give her the wrong impression. I’ll give you something to flinch about” but the comedy gods were on my side that day and the waitress came back with the food to the table next to us right was my dad said the last bit and she almost spilt all their food on the floor bc she stumbled in shock and even said “oh my god” & the table next to us heard the last bit too but now they saw my neck and we could all see the light bulbs go off in their heads and my brother was crying silent tears of laughter at this point which made it even worse… all the while my dad is mad/embarrassed turning red, and my quiet sweet angel of a mother who likes to stay out of the fights is just silently shaking her head with her eyes closed bc she was so done with all of our shit so it looked like she was shaking her head at me for flinching like she agreed with my fathers “threat”.😅😂 The thing that broke the ice was when my mom asked the waitress departing the table next to us if she could change her drink order. I love that some of the guys from Super Troopers were in this show. Mac and Farva. My dad got to meet Farva on set. He was a background actor for the movie, so I enjoy seeing these guys get new roles because they were really good to him on the set.

I love that some of the guys from Super Troopers were in this show. Mac and Farva. My dad got to meet Farva on set. He was a background actor for the movie, so I enjoy seeing these guys get new roles because they were really good to him on the set.
Glad someone else recognized them. I was excited when I saw Farva and confused when I saw Mac too. I thought maybe they made another Super Troopers for a second.

I got in a minor car wreck in my 20's, refused the ambulance and went to the ER a few hours later once the adrenaline wore off. My parents went to get my prescription from the pharmacy and asked my older bro to come watch me (they'd given me some pain meds at the hospital).
He was asking if I was hurting and I told him,
"Only when I breathe."
He paused for almost a full minute.
"Soooooo...all the time?"
Yeah smarty-pants, my brain isn't working properly right now! He still gives me hell about that when we see one another.

So I recently had an issue with a bad head cold that managed to morph into my throat and I sounded like Barry White and Harvey Firestein had a baby. My voice had gotten so deep that 2 days after my son and I went to go see Transformers One, I called him and when he answered the phone and I said "Badassatron!" And then we just both laughed hysterically
My favourite part of getting sick is the rad basso profundo voice suddenly (but only temporarily) available to me, lol.
