    A. We need to make sure the project is actually going to happen because Ducey has been talking about this since 2018-2019.
    B. A passenger train route from Tucson to Phoenix also needs to happen. Sooner rather than later.

      Biden already passed the infrastructure bill. But, yeah.. keep an eye on the money.

      Biden passed infrastructure, unlike Trump.

    They should have done this before the Broadway project!!! Bad miscalculation!☹️

    If you want growth, you've got to build the supporting infrastructure. At least the last Congress (2021-2023) got something done. We need more done.

      Precisely why Californians voted twice for our gas tax. Also, several projects from Biden’s infrastructure bill have been completed already or broke ground! You need great infrastructure and a healthy workforce to grow an economy, not tax cuts for the wealthy 1%.

    It's more than widening the highway. There is a lot of bridge work and interchange work in the plan.

    Interstate 11. Why isn't it completed?? The fastest growing metro areas since ww2...and no direct route between Phoenix and Las Vegas?? Ever drive it? Ridiculous. Unsafe. BUILD IT ALREADY!!!

    Government always wastes tens of millions on the dumbest stuff that makes no one happier. 😂 This is part of the inflation reduction act? How dumb.

    Now the drug dealers and cartels will be able to move faster on I-10.

    More lies 😂 FYI - should be 5 lanes ! ! Industrial / Electronics Manufacturing is coming to Az big time ! A “corridor” for manufacturing from Mexico as well. China is finished

    Eh... A renovation is certainly welcome and needed, but I see no good reason to expand the lanes. It's not gonna make the traffic go any faster, nor necessarily safer.

    • @mikeyroos4229
      @mikeyroos4229 8 месяцев назад +2

      2 lanes to 3 lanes absolutely allows for faster traffic, are you nuts? This stretch gets backed up constantly. One numb nut going slow in the left lane or a semi taking 10 minutes to pass screws everyone for miles at a time. I dread this area everytime I have to go to Phx. Reducing congestion and allow more space for vehicles is undoubtedly more safe and efficient.

    • @MrMarket1987
      @MrMarket1987 8 месяцев назад

      @@mikeyroos4229 See, what you're telling me about is drivers not being that good at driving, not an issue with the lanes; unless the lanes themselves are too narrow to properly space out for semis. That's not the argument you think it is. That might get mitigated expanding lanes by 1, but it's not gonna fix bad driving, nor fix how the exit routes are allowing for smooth and quick exits that may be part of some congestions.

    • @mikeyroos4229
      @mikeyroos4229 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@MrMarket1987 yes, count on drivers being stupid. It will always be the case. I've experienced this stretch of road become agonizing countless times once it narrows from 3 lanes closer to Tucson down to 2 so I know the difference it would make. Sounds like you don't even know the stretch of road and are just talking generally.

    • @MrMarket1987
      @MrMarket1987 8 месяцев назад

      @@mikeyroos4229 Well no wonder it gets agonizing.If a lane goes from 3 to 2 on the way in for no good reason, it's always gonna cause congestions, and drivers ending up on lanes they might not need to be in to avoid awkward collision merging lanes.
      Still, what I meant with my first post that I should have specified on is that, ideally, you only need a fast lane and a truck/exit lane to make do for standard long roads; At some point, expanding lanes becomes redundant if those exit routes on busy roads don't lead into other decently wide roads themselves, cause all you're doing is passing the problems along elsewhere.

    • @gostakount7383
      @gostakount7383 8 месяцев назад

      @@MrMarket1987 not exactly. If the exit gets backed up in the right lane, that only leaves one lane for through traffic. Surely, adding a lane so two cars can get through at a time instead of only one will speed things up.
