I’m amazed by the calmness of Jame in every situation. Win, Loss, Crash, Bad timing, he’s always calm. VP’s playstyle my be boring but still huge props. One of my fav players

When VP (as Outsiders) won the Rio Major, it didn't mean much to me.
I'm not from the CIS region and I was never a huge fan prior to any of the individuals.
But seeing how Jame has handled this situation has made me a fan.
A great example for the community of how to maintain composure and focus when life doesn't go your way.

I'm a Russian speaker. He doesn't hide it tbh. The way he speaks is because he's just being reasonable, but his main emotion is disappointment. I don't know if it's obvious through subtitles (they're correct though).

Massive g2 fan and gotta say I felt so bad for these guys. That round was massive. It put g2 to a 12-10 eco but instead the crash saved the day

super unfortunate and unfair thing to happen and massive respect to jame for keeping composed. keep in mind though, VP had that entire game to not let one crash effect them overly negatively, and then they had another full match afterwards where they got stomped. this wasn't the reason they lost the BO3, nor does it mean G2 didn't deserve to advance!

i'm just sad that we won't see VP play in the major anymore, they have such a unique style. some call it boring but it's really not if you understand what's going on. each round is like a crime thriller movie when VP plays, a guessing game and then crazy tension in the last 30 seconds. every other team feels pretty standard compared to them (although thats of course an exaggeration)

I'm sorry but the fix is incredibly simple. In a tournament LAN setting there should be a pause implementation like in dota 2. Everything and everyone stops. Black screen pause. Allows for a PC/hardware to be fixed.
To prevent abuse of this feature, could be punishable and disqualification by ref behind them.
in dota there is a 3s pause, james would have died by then

we are in 2024 cs should be able to rewind the round to when nothing happens to pre crash when stuff like this happens. LOL hav had it for like 6 years.
Wouldn't make sense at all in CS. You can rewind the round, but the players still have info they shouldn't have, so it could mean you gain an advantage from crashing. It sucks how it is right now, but there is just no solution besides making sure the game crashes less.

Even football has time for replays and delays for VAR checks already. CS 2 is e-sport! The game is complex software. Why don't make 1 round for both team for the match to replay, if there's obvious technical issues of course? Exactly for that kind of situations.
I'm agree with Jame on his post interview. VP didn't was strong enough on the 3rd map. BUT. On the other hand... Two close team. Team 1 ready to win on opponent map pick, and that doesn't happen, not because of Team 2 will and skills, or Team 1 mistakes and discommunication, but because of bug in complex software. I think it's a Valve problem, and think that players should not suffer from that.
because then players can just quit the game and say game crashed. it doesn't work like that in Counter Strike, the rules are as they are for a reason.
@@danbUzZ1- For that reason there's a referees in sports. And CS is a software, and can be traced much easier (at least in theory). If player just quit - there will trace of that, no crash reports, no unconventional behavior of system, only player and his button pushes. And by the way there's examples in sport, where that rules challenge is punished if your challenge canceled by referees - for example, in hockey lost rules challenge punishable by 2min power play for opponent (so you didn't cancel goal in you net, and will play shorthanded to potentially lose one more).
