I was at these trials and Ed Hopson was the star of the show. I have been trying to remember his name for years! Man that kid had so much raw talent.

i am searching for any mid-late 80's boxing showing Lee Hufnagel from Youngstown, Ohio
It turned out that his fight with Allen was Hembrick's last amateur fight and that there was no US representative in the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
The greats came from these here trials

One of the greatest of all time Roy Jones Jr beat Frankie Liles to make the 1988 team.

ABC which didn't televise the summer games that year (NBC did) doing us Olympic trials. I think know, NBC has the rights to all trials.
